With access to surrounding unspoilt beaches and secluded bays, the apartment overlooks the hinterland and has water views from the large balcony with many of the regions top attractions only a short walk away including weekend markets, cinemas and ferry services. The apartment is fully furnished with a full range of modern facilities. The master bedroom has a king bed and double sofa in the living room ($30 charge)

Don't be fooled by "Pool Deck"

The mantra is a great location but the advertisement for Beach Lure says "Pool Deck" which implies you are somewhere near the pool or at least have a view of the pool or maybe some water. Not so in this case. Yes, you are on the same level as the pool but facing in the opposite direction and 200 meters walk to the pool.

Great location in Ettalong Beach

The unit is compact but has nearly everything required for our week-long stay. The location is great, as was assistance when required from the booking agent. Lighting in the living areas is quite poor and the smoke detector is located right above the cook-top, which made us reluctant to cook any meat in the unit, as we didn't want to risk being charged 1,700 for the fire brigade callout fee. We were even nervous cooking our toast. The bed was large and comfortable, and having the shower over the spa bath meant there was no issue with water escaping onto the floor. There was a washer, drier and clothes rack. The kitchenette is quite small, the balcony is large, but the view was mostly blocked by the construction going on across the road. Parking was available underneath the building. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Ettalong Beach

Nice feed at The Diggers

Had some nosey and creepy neighbours. Foxtel and wifi never worked. Apart from that it was fine. The Diggers Club was great.

Disappointing

The resort is great for its location and the pool is defiantly a hit with the kids. The apartment it self is ok but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The patio was filthy, covered in bird droppings which rendered it unusable. We could not enjoy use of the small table , chairs and sun lounge provided. We found hair and fluff on the washing machine and dryer and the floors had not been swept as there was sand in some areas in particular in the laundry. Finally no coffee / tea or sugar was provided and there were only three dining chairs. This is not the first time we have stayed at the Mantra but compared to our previous stay the room was very disappointing.
