The Gecko Shed is a detached self contained Studio on the banks of Tallow Creek and is surrounded by Lush tropical rainforest.

The location is a convenient 5 minute drive to the Byron CBD, less than 2 minutes to Tallow beach and a few hundred yards from the Byron Bay Golf Course, tavern a shops.

Perched on the banks of a waterway full of bird life, the property is a bird sanctuary. Enjoy peaceful views along Tallow Creek and the lush coastal rainforest. When its time to re-engage with the world you will find all ammenities conveniently located in close proximity. Enjoy the best of both worlds.

Standard pricing is for 2 adults in a Queen bed. An additional 2 adults can be accommodated on a double sofa bed at an extra cost.

Cosy and quiet

The property was the perfect distance from Byron for peace and quiet. The gardens were immaculate and a haven for lizards and water dragons. We spent a lot of time at the breakfast bar watching them move from one rock to the next. The bed was a little too soft for our liking and the furnishings were different to those pictured and getting a little tired. But it had everything we needed except a mop. But if you aren't afraid of walking across a wet shower floor to get to the toilet you will be fine. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. A great little stay and bang for your buck.
