Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with stunning views of the lagoon and sea. situated on the top = 1st floor in a house consisting of just 2 apartments (one on the ground floor, and the one which is for rentals, on the 1st floor.
Located straight in front of the beautiful lagoon (Ria Formosa), within walking distance to the centre of Cabanas, former fishing village with a large variety of restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets, sports facilities and public transport.
This apartment is part of the Golden Club and tenants have free access to the Club´s attractive facilities, such as 2 outdoor, one indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna, various pool bars, lounge with bar and big screen television. The boat transport to the beach is free.
There are various golf-courses near by (Benamor Golf Course and "Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima golf courses.

Great stay

Great place to stay. In a complex with good pools but apartment looks over esuary, away from the crowds. Host dealt with any issues straight away. Cabanas is a lovely area and central to explore the rest of Eastern / Central algrave on day trips.

Very nice 2 bedroom apartment with all the appliances for a self catering holiday. Resort has lovely animation, swimming pools and boat transportation to beautiful beach. Anja the owner is excellent and always available for any matter

Wonderful location

Wonderful location right on water front, woke up to sound of waves & birds. Local sand beach is short boat trip, and pritine white sand. We were able to walk our dog each day on beach & resort has great pool and spa facilities. Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals, or Cabanas de Tavira is a short stroll each evening for drinks or meal out. Ideal spot, great stay.

Beautiful view and so quiet

Overlooking the Ria formosa, the apartment was lovely and very quiet. All amenities catered for. Easy laid back holiday. No problems. We will return soon. Loads of books in apartment! Thank you Anja.

What a view !

Great location with sun all day on the balcony. Lots of birds were seen from the house - many very close. Pool and associated facilities were very nice. Plenty of things to do locally. Will certainly think returning here.

Great location, great facilities and have already booked for next year

We had a great stay and wanted for nothing, the host was very helpful and caring. We used all the facilities on site and we were very impressed with the fitness team. The property itself was very quiet even though it was close to all amenities. The WiFi was very good and the equipment in the apartment all worked well and we had all we required to cook all meals. We arrived to complimentary fine wine and water. We have been coming to this area for ten year and can honestly say this was our best experience. We found the location to be very convenient for excursion, the motorway was only fifteen minutes away. We are already looking forward to next year

Another wonderful stay at Golden Club

Our 4th time at Golden Club, which we love, but our 1st time staying at Anja's apartment. We had to upgrade size-wise as our boy's had outgrown the previous apartment. This one ticked the boxes with a double and a twin room and two bathrooms (such a luxury on holidays!). We arrived with very clear instructions from Anja, great to have a private parking space for the hire car. We had a few minor issues with the apartment over the first few days, but Anja was the perfect host, and responded to us very quickly and did her very best to resolve them. We then settled into the holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there. We loved having the two balconies in the apartment, to catch the sun at different times of day, and BBQd on two occasions. All essentials are in the apartment, with clean linen and towels for the 2nd week. Golden Club is a great resort for adults and kids alike, and Cabanas a great location if you want a quiet location with good food. We will surely return again!

Das Appartement liegt sehr schön.Leider ist die Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sodass die Bilder auf der Seite von FeWo direkt nicht ganz die Wirklichkeit zeigen. Die Vermieterin war aber sehr nett und freundlich, an unseren Themen interessiert, hat sich sofort gekümmert!! Für ältere Mieter, wie wir es waren (älter als 70Jahre), war die Anlage nicht so gut geeignet. Das Schwimmbad extrem voll auch noch im September und jeden Abend sehr laute Musik bis 23:00 Uhr. Trotz allem haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen, da es ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Sandalgarve war und am Tag eine ruhige und entspannte Zeit auf dem Balkon möglich war.

Gostámos muito do apartamento tem ótimas áreas e com boas condições, gostámos muito da hospitalidade dos donos no "welcome". Cozinha bem equipada e com condições para uma familia de 5. Partes exteriores agradáveis. Muito boas piscinas e partes comuns e otima localização.Pontos a melhorar (mas que nao são impeditivos da otima avaliação que temos): zona do patamar de entrada da vivenda mais limpa e arrumada, e ter a possibilidade de ter duas chaves.

Apartamento com falta de manutenção, desorganizado,com armários ocupados. Cozinha e os utensílios da mesma encontrava-se muito sujos. Única vantagem é estar inserido no golden club, com acesso às piscinas e barco para a praia.

Pause sympathique près de Tavira

Location spacieuse, belle vue sur la lagune pour le petit déjeuner. Le club dans lequel se trouve l’appartement possède 2 très belles piscines, pas trop surchargées, et met un service de bateaux-navettes à disposition pour passer la lagune et aller à la plage. Dommage cependant que la mer ait tant d’algues. Une vraie soupe ! Pause agréable en tous les cas.

Propriedade com bastante potencial mas que, infelizmente, por falta de manutenção, fica muito aquém das expectativas. Limpeza muito má; electrodomésticos a necessitarem de serem substituídos, sofá cama bastante desconfortável (do século passado). Disponibilidade e simpatia por quem nos dá apoio mas que infelizmente não resolve as questões.

Anfitriã sempre muito simpática, comunicativa e atenciosa. O alojamento é um pouco velho mas cumpre o propósito. Tivemos um problema logo no inicio com a banheira que não estava operacional, so foi possível o arranjo da mesma já no antepenúltimo dia da estadia, mas a anfitriã mostrou logo disponibilidade para resolver o problema. Tínhamos uma segunda casa de banho pelo que não ficou comprometida a estadia. No geral foi uma estadia agradável.

Why they chose this property

For me the Golden Club is the best holiday complex in Cabanas when it comes to all the facilities it has to offer.
I fell in love with the apartment because of its fantastic location being in front of the beautiful lagoon (Ria Formosa) of Cabanas affording uninterrupted views of the lagoon and see. Important for me is also that that the apartment is spacious and has got 2 bathrooms.

What makes this property unique

The location of the apartment being outside of the complex itself but having access to the 2 outdoor swimming pools, the indoor swimming pool (which no other complex can offer), etc. gives me a brilliant choice of how I would like to spend my holidays. In a sporty way or just relaxing. Cabanas has such a large choice and variety of good restaurants and pubs that one can eat out in a different restaurant every day. Beautiful Tavira is approx. 5 kms away. I can visit Seville or Lisbon. The location is just ideal for everything.
