About this property

The villa is very comfortably furnished and benefits from air conditioning in all bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and balcony, there is a family bathroom which has a shower and 2 twin bedded bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, full size washing machine, fridge/freezer etc. Outside the terrace with garden table/chairs, sun loungers and BBQ. The terrace has an awning which provides shade when dining Al fresco. For the children there are noodles and boules and other games to enjoy.

I recommend this house

House in a very quiet area and 10 minutes from the sea. The villa lacks nothing and is close to shops and restaurants. Pals is a great seaside resort for the family. And the medieval village is beautiful.

Schönes und gepflegtes Haus in angenehmer Lage - ein toller Urlaub!

Das Haus und die Einrichtung entsprechen genau der Beschreibung. Alles ist sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Die ruhige Lage in einem Wohngebiet empfanden wir als sehr angenehm. Zu Fuß können nach wenigen Minuten Strand, Restaurants und Supermärkte erreicht werden, so kann das Auto auch öfter einmal stehen bleiben. Der Kontakt zu Graham war sehr nett, Emails wurden schnell beantwortet und alle wichtigen sowie viele zusätzliche Informationen rund um Haus, Stadt und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Mitarbeiter der Hausverwaltung vor Ort waren ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, wir fühlten uns sehr gut betreut. Der Ort Platja de Pals gefiel uns sehr gut, mit schönem familiären Urlaubsflair abseits der Hochburgen des Party- und Massentourismus. Die Ausflugsgmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig, unsere ganze Familie war begeistert über die Schönheit der Küste, die tollen kleinen Bade-Buchten und interessanten Städte wie Empuriabrava oder Barcelona. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt von uns wäre die Auswahl der Fernsehsender: Das Programm bestand ausschliesslich aus britischen Sendern - unsere Kinder hätten sich gerne auch deutsche Fernsehsender gewünscht ;-) Vielen Dank, Graham, für den tollen Urlaub in Eurem Haus! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent. Very good lication.

The villa was everything we wished for. It was very well equipped. The bed linen & towels were changed every week by a very professional team. The swimming pool was very clean & well maintained. We all had an amazing time. The location was very good. We were walking distance from the beach, shops, cafes & restaurants. An ideal location for families.

My wife and I bought this villa 18 years ago and love spending time in Pals. Our family also enjoy visiting and it has been great fun finding new things to see with each visit. Places of interest nearby are the historic old towns of Pals and Begur and the impressive city of Girona with its larger selection of shops and restaurants. The Costa Brava area is known for its paddy-rice fields (the word Pals means marsh) and it is well known for their wonderful paella dishes, orchards, cork forests, medieval history of the Moors and its sparkling sea. We especially enjoy the local colour, the Catalonian dishes, the markets and frequent fiestas in nearby towns. A short journey by car takes in Figueres and Savlador Dali's museum which is worth a special visit and Barcelona is within easy reach.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of the unspoilt coastline and great beaches in the area. It is popular with Barcelonians many of whom have weekend homes along the coast and has a much less commercial feel than many other parts of Spain. Ease of access was also important and there are many flights a day to Girona, Barcelona and it can be driven to from Calais in under 12 hours.

What makes this property unique

Our property has a safe enclosed garden and enjoys a good level of privacy. We installed air conditioning in all the bedrooms a few years ago after one very hot summer and this has made the nights as comfortable as the days. The villa is in a quiet road within easy walk of shops and local restaurants, tennis and golf. At the beach there are friendly restaurants and beach bars which offer very good value. We felt we struck gold when we found this part of the Costa Brava and have had a wonderful time finding new places to visit and visiting our favourite old haunts. Our guests clearly like what they have found and we have had some excellent feedback and many repeat bookers. For golfers the area has some 4 courses within 10-20 minutes of the villa, at Pals, and Golf Emporda, Playa D'Aro
