The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region. The Lisbon coast has many beautiful beaches and Unesco heritage places to visit, which is perfect for holiday makers seeking a relaxing holiday to escape from tourists-crowded Algarve yet enjoy some culture and some beautiful historic ancient towns a short drive away. Sintra - 45 min from the villa. Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on account of its 19th century Romantic architecture. Sintra has become a major tourist attraction, with many day-trippers visiting from nearby Lisbon. Attractions include the fabulous Pena Palace (19th c.) and the Castelo dos Mouros (reconstructed 19th c.) with a breath-taking view of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and the summer residence of the kings of Portugal Palácio Nacional de Sintra (largely 15th/16th c.), in the town itself. The Sintra Mountain Range, one of the largest parks in the Lisbon area, (Serra de Sintra) is also a major tourist attraction. Obidos - 1hr from the villa.

Why they chose this property
We decided to buy a villa in Ericeria as the area retains all the charm of Portugal is very relaxed and ideally located with lots to see and do in the area or if just relaxing at the pool side or at one of a number of local beaches is your thing, you will not be disappointed!
With Lisbon airport only 30-40 minutes away, the airport transfer is quick, especially useful if you have a family to care for.
The local area offers really good value when it comes to shopping and eating out, as it is yet to become as 'commercial' as the likes of the Algarve.
Local people are also very friendly and helpful. Our representatives also live close by so are on hand to help or offer advice if needed.

The villa is spacious and can easily provide accommodation for a large family or number of families and given the unique layout, five bedrooms and four bathrooms and provides lots of internal and external personal space in which to relax.
