This charming traditional Italian apartment is located on the 1st floor with its own small private balcony with flowers, it is tucked away on a quite street only 3 minutes from the busy main piazza.
The living room and the kitchen are both South east facing which allows the warm morning sun to shine through giving the early birds chance to soak it up while having breakfast while not disturbing late sleepers.
It has a spacious living room area with a dinning table that easly seats 4-6 when you just want to stay in enabling you to take advantage of the fully functional kitchen.
It has 2 bedrooms, fully equiped with high quality linen and towels at your disposal at no extra charge.
Street parking is available for those who need it and the lake and marina are only a short walk away. There are many lovely beaches around the lake

Rundum zufrieden! - Very nice stay! - tutto bene!

We had one week in Marta and there was nothing missing. At any time I would recommend this appartment! 100%. And also is the village with it's bars, restaurants, and the " lago di Bolsena".

Perfect stay, great location on Lake Bolsena

We really enjoyed our week's stay in the lovely town of Marta.The apartment is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was a perfect base for day trips to explore the many historic towns in the surrounding countryside, there is so much to see. The town of Marta, on the beautiful Lake Bolsena, was a wonderful town to explore - friendly people and having great bakeries, delis and restaurants to check out. The owner Doreen was very helpful with the information she provided. Highly recommended.

Spacious, clean, well equipped

Spacious, clean and well equipped flat located minutes from the lake in Marta. Flat is very well located being about an hour and a half north of Rome and about the same distance south of the attractions of Tuscany. I stayed in the flat for a month and it proved to be a very comfortable and convenient base to explore this very beautiful part of Italy. The landlady (or her friends) were always on hand to sort out practical issues or give advice on interesting places to visit. Thanks again Dorreen !

Hello, my name is Doreen Jones. I retired a few years ago after flying around the world for a major airline for almost 30 years as Flight Attendant. Italy was always one of my favorite destinations, after I retired, I visited Italy many times and decided that it was time for me to buy a place of my own. This was a unspoilt area that I fell in love with and I knew it was a place for me. I return many times throughout the year. I find the local customs and people are ideal, and I enjoy the life in Italy very much.

Why they chose this property

I looked around many towns in northern Lazio & fell in love with Marta, the proximity to the lake, and other lovely places in the area were ideal for me. I love the Italian lifestyle, the local people are very friendly. They have been very welcoming and helpful. When the second apartment in the building became available I decided to buy it, making the access to both apartments private.

What makes this property unique

My requirements when looking for a place was somewhere that good restaurants, coffee shops, and all other amenities were within walking distance, also
within easy reach I wanted places of interest with varied activities. I wanted to enjoy the Italian lifestyle. Marta has all of that and more. The area is off the regular tourist route. A hidden gem.
