About Colin & Chris Davis
We have lived in Essex, England for a number of years and built our own chalet bungalow, on the site of our old bungalow, in 2002. We both taught Physical Education for many years, before Colin managed sports centres and contracts for the probation service; and Chris sold new homes. We are both now retired and both love sport. Chris plays golf and Colin still plays cricket and golf. Previously, we both played badminton. In 2008 we set up a junior section at our local cricket club and now Colin coaches and Chris helps administer a group of over 50 7-16 year olds!
Colin & Chris Davis purchased this villa in 2007
Why Colin & Chris Davis chose Polis
We searched for an overseas property for a number of years and finally set our hearts on Cyprus in 2006, after considering both Spain and Portugal. Reasons for our decision are the climate, the local food, the culture, the people and the outdoor life. We chose the Polis/Latchi area because it ticks all our boxes and is also fairly unspoilt, there are so many place to visit and has the added benefit of the Akamas National Park close by. The 'Beach House' is our dream location. We enjoy the summer months in the UK and aim to spend most of the winters in Cyprus.
What makes this villa unique
We are so lucky to have found the Beach House as it is such great place to relax and base to explore the local area. The decision to buy it was immediate. We never tire of the views from our house. It is especially stunning at sunset! The garden is our own design and some of our neighbours have used our ideas.
