On the award-winning Al Andalus Thalassa complex,this family-owned apartment with free WIFI has been finished to the highest standard and enjoys beautiful mountain views. The complex was featured on GMTV as their best buying option for vacational homes. Ideal for those seeking an active or leisurely holiday, there is a unique on-site spa with 2 outdoor swimming pools making this an ideal location all year. For the energetic there is a gym area. To relax and unwind you have exclusive use of the indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, water jet circuit from October to May. Set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens with water features, there are tennis and paddle ball courts and a children's playground. The apartment is less than 5 minutes drive from the fantastic 7 mile beach of Vera Playa and a superb water park. Located within 10-15 minutes drive are 4 golf courses. Ideal for golfers seeking cheaper and less-crowded courses. This largely undiscovered coast of Spain enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year.

Apartment in Vera playa

This is a well presented apartment in a sunny position offering good outside space with reasonable level of privacy inside the property has a very well equipped kitchen and the bathrooms have the option bath/shower a good sized lounge and English tv our only problem was no internet but this was available at the local bar not withstanding that there was lots of local guides and information on the contents and places to visit and we would recommend this as a place to stay added to the indoor swimming pool and facilities a good family holiday plus the owners were always available and extremely helpful with booking and any issues we raised Stan bel

Although we do not have Internet in the apartment, there are two hotspots on the complex where you can access wifi, one of them is 100 metres away and the other one is at the indoor pool. Ha estado todo correcto, al apartamento no le falta de nada, zona muy tranquila y agradable. Octavia, que es la persona que nos recibio, siempre dispuesta a ayudar y ha solucionar cualquier problema, es encantadora, da gusto encontrar personas asi, muchas gracias. Espero poder repetir el año que viene, pero mas dias.

El alojamiento es fabuloso, la casa y las instalaciones de la urbanización estupendas. Es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos en casa de Vivien y cada vez mejor. Lo único que tenemos que reprochar es que Vrbo nos ha cobrado por el cambio de euros a libras, por lo que lo tendremos en cuenta para futuras ocasiones (con homeaway ésto no pasaba).

Excelente experiencia-Excellent experience

La experiencia en el alojamiento ha sido excelente. Está perfectamente equipado con todo lo necesario; aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y el salón, con dos ventiladores adicionales de aire; la urbanización es grande, las dos piscinas muy bien, con socorrista; hay dos pistas de padel (de suelo de cemento) y no suele haber problemas para reservar (recomendable hacerlo con un día de antelación), la ubicación dentro de la urbanización es muy tranquila y no se oyen ruidos. La urbanización está ubicada en zona de interior pero se llega a la playa en 5 minutos en coche, o dando un paseo de unos 15-20 minutos. A unos 3 kms esta el supermercado mercadona; a menos de 2 kms hay un consum. Ya conocíamos la zona pues hemos estado varios años veraneando alli, aun asi destacamos el contacto con los dueños (Vivien and Gwynn) resaltando que ha sido muy bueno y nos han proporcionado abundante información. Si volvemos a veranear por Vera, intentaremos reservar de nuevo esta propiedad si está disponible. -------------------------------- (With the help of google translate ...) The accommodation experience has been excellent. It is perfectly equipped with everything you need; air conditioning in bedrooms and living room, with two additional air fans; the urbanization is large, the two swimming pools very well, with lifeguard; There are two paddle tennis courts (with concrete floors) and there are usually no problems to book (it is recommended to do it a day in advance), the location within the complex is very quiet and there are no noises. The urbanization is located in an inland area but you can reach the beach in 5 minutes by car, or taking a walk of about 15-20 minutes. About 3 km away is the Mercadona supermarket; less than 2 kms there is a consum. We already knew the area because we have spent several years vacationing there, even so we highlight the contact with the owners (Vivien and Gwynn) highlighting that it has been very good and they have provided us with abundant information. If we go back to summer in Vera, we will try to book this property again if it is available.

Apartamento bonito pero bastante sucio

Cuando llegamos envié un correo al propietario con fotos indicándole que el apartamento en la parte de la terraza, cocina y ventanas estaba muy sucio. La ventanas tenian telarañas, la cocina un monton de grasa, los anteriores inquilinos apagaron sus cigarros en los cuencos de los desayunos y estaban grises, la campana con grasa, la pared también, la cafetera italiana con moho, en el baño telarañas, el patio de la parte delantera no lo han fregado y barrido en mucho tiempo. En la página web ponia que hjabia gimnasio y jacuzzi, y nada ninguna de las 2 en verano se pueden usar, y para nosotros este punto es muy importante. no hubiera ido si supieramos que no había. Excepto una vez en Bergen, nunca habia estado tan sucio un apartamento. Slds,

We have created a well furnished and equipped apartment on a complex with excellent facilities. A home from home for guest, ourselves and our families. Our kitchen is well equipped . All linens are of good quality and provided free of charge. The furniture is of good quality and comfortable. All rooms have been redecorated in the last year.We retiled and extended the patio two years ago and there are flowering climbers and shrubs and herbs in the garden. We look after our apartment with the utmost care. Imagine how upset we were to discover the apartment was not clean for renters. This has never happened before. It occurred because of an unfortunate chain of events. The previous guests left the apartment in an appalling condition. They left before the agreed time so our keyholder was unable to remonstrate with them. She realised she would be unable to clean the apartment herself in time for the next renters and so she called in some other cleaners. She left them with the task of cleaning whilst she took the linens to be laundered. We understand that when she was made aware of the dirty state of the apartment she offered to rectify the situation. We are so sorry that the renters found our apartment in such an awful state. It has never happened before in the eight years we have been renting out. Since those renters left we have had two other sets of guests who found the apartment in a clean state and when we arrived last week with our family it was in a clean and well maintained condition. Trust is an essential element of holiday rentals. The renters have to trust that the apartment will be clean and tidy. The owner has to trust their property will be treated with respect and that the cleaners will ensure the property is well maintained and cleaned. Every element of trust was broken on this occasion and we will do everything within our power to ensure it doesn't happen again. We enjoy being at our apartment and we want others to enjoy it too.

Great location , lovely apartment, but cold.

Lovely apartment and the meet and great by Silvia was perfect, the apartment was very clean and fully equipped, the main problem we had was that in January it is very cold and even though we had the heating on it still felt cold and spoilt the feel of the apartment. Would consider returning but not in the colder months as we didn't feel the apartment was equipped for the colder months.

Dear Clare, we are so sorry to hear you were cold. I wish you had let Sylvia know as she could have brought additional heaters. I've just phoned the couple who are staying now to find out if they are warm enough. Luckily they are but I think the weather has warmed up since your visit. However we are going to buy some additional heaters to prevent this situation from ever occurring again. We are glad you like the apartment and the location and look forward to welcoming you again.
