Maison Fleurie, 2 bedroom cottage with heated private swimming pool and WIFI

The barn has been renovated to a very high standard and is situated in a superb rural location, yet within five minutes drive of large supermarkets, banks, restaurants etc. Lac de Guerledan, the 8 mile long lake with it's many safe and sandy beaches and the Nantes to Brest Canal are just a short drive away. Both of these offer many sporting activities such as horse riding, water skiing, canoeing and cycling. The cottage has been designed to accommodate families with children of all ages with a private and safe garden to play in. The pool is for your sole use and heated with a solar system and a heat pump and is open from Mid May to mid September . Large new terrace area for 2024 with BBQ and sun loungers.
The cottage has an open plan downstairs with fully fitted modern kitchen and everything you need for a self catering holiday. Large flatscreen TV with English and French Tv. Altogether an ideal base for exploring central Brittany as virtually every tourist attraction is within an hours easy travelling distance. The cottage benefits from a Sunday changeover usually benefiting from a cheaper ferry crossing !

A very relaxing location and comfortable accommodation

Maison Fleurie is situated in a quiet and beautiful location, the cottage was clean, tidy and comfortable with the heated swimming pool everything for a relaxing holiday. There are numerous places to visit if you so wish or your could laze around the pool reading a book, its your choice. Vanessa and David are wonderful hosts, helpful and not intrusive. The weather was mixed so we were not able to use the BBQ or sit outside to eat, until the last day. We both slept extremely well in the comfortable bed, the blackout blind we believe helped us get 8+ hours sleep a night, we are thinking of investing in one at home. We hope to return again in the future.

As good as it looks!!

A cute property in an idyllic spot, absolutely everything you need is there from the swimming pool to the ice tray. David and Vanessa are excellent hosts, always available but never intrusive. We would certainly return, and we would definitely recommend a stay to friends and family.

5 star relaxing cottage

The Garden cottage is situated in a beautiful location, pictures just do not do it justice. There is everything you require for a relaxing holiday whether it'swatching the TV, using the reliable wifi or just chilling by the heated swimming pool, this cottage has it all and more ! The area is so pretty and the unCrowded roads make it easy go to visiting all the wonderful place David and Vanessa tell you about it. We were so impressed we booked up another one of their cottages to bring back the family in September. Would recommend this cottage to everybody !

Fantastic Holiday Cottage

We stayed at Vanessa and David's 3 bedroom cottage back in June with our young children and had chance of a child free break so booked their Garden Cottage. What a wonderful, peaceful location with superb heated swimming pool. The cottage was beautifully furnished and everything matched through out the cottage. A well equipped kitchen and great BBQ, which my husband loved. We spent lazy days sipping wine around the swimming pool, idyllic. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. A place for people of all ages whether it be romantic getaways or family holidays. David and Vanessa were great hosts and we shall certainly be coming back again for a 3rd visit.

Lovely Holiday

This was our fourth visit to Garden cottage and once again we had a lovely holiday. The cottage was very clean and tidy and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We made great use of the pool and enjoyed walking in the local countryside as well as canoeing on the Lac de Guerledan. We love the peace and quiet of this rural location which is why we keep returning.

A fantastic getaway

Our holiday in this cottage was very tranquil as it is situated in a unique part of Brittany away from the stresses of modern life. The cottage is modernised, well equipped and furnished. There is a heated swimming pool to relax by in a garden setting. Close by is a lake where one can partake in various sport activities. A fantastic location for family holidays and we have booked for 2014

David and I moved to France 21 years ago with our young son Luke. We are now a family of 4, Luke is 25 and Ryan 17 We love the French way of life and are two sons are bi-lingual which we hope will help them in their chosen careers.

We have been running holiday cottages now for 19years and enjoy meeting all our guests.

The Cottage was renovated by ourselves and benefits from a quiet setting in the Breton countryside yet only a few minutes drive away from all the local shops and restaurants. We live on site so are nearby in case you have any questions

What makes this property unique

The property is located in the garden of our house but benefits from its own private access and garden. The cottage has a private heated swimming pool just for the use of the guests. The cottage is well equipped for all self catering holidays. WiFi is available in the cottage along with English and french tv and a DVD player.
