We had a great experience! Proximity to the beach was amazing and I was able to walk down to watch the sunrise in the mornings. The kids enjoyed looking for snow crabs at night. Our kids enjoyed having a room with separate beds but still being close to us so we could hang out and play games at night

End of the island

The property was safe. Nice to have good security on hand. It was clean and updated. Not to far orf a walk to the beach or pool and the pool is huge and clean

The room was great and so were the views. Traffic in this area was congested. The resort was nice but it was a pain to have to request a key to access the sauna and the hot tub area. My husband had to leave his drivers license to get the key. When he went back to get his license, he had to wait about 45 minutes for the guard to return. Other than that we had a great stay!

Enjoyed Our Family Time

We stayed for a week with our family of four (2 adults, 10 year old, & 19 month old). The property was in great shape. The only complaint we had was regarding the mattresses in the unit. They are in poor shape and need an upgrade. There were foam pads on the mattresses in the second bedroom. The master bed was sunk in on the side with a lump in the middle. Other than that, we had a great time and hope to visit El Matador again soon. We would love to stay in the same unit if the mattresses are updated.

Overall great stay!

Overall a great vacation!! A few minor issues with the unit, oven didn’t work and a bathroom sink did not drain. A maintenance worker fixed the sink right away. Unit was dated and could use a sprucing up, but overall clean, comfortable and very spacious. Loved El Matador and it was a wonderful family vacation! The beach was great and the pool was never crowded! We will be back!
