We are happy you enjoyed your stay! We hope you can come back again soon!
We would definitely stay in this spacious, well-stocked home again and found it a great value compared to others we’ve rented on the island. We had a problem early on, but it was resolved immediately.

This house was perfect for our short moms weekend away! Very comfortable, clean, spacious and great location. We enjoyed riding bikes around the island, hanging out in the light and spacious kitchen and living room , and loved the convenience of golf carts and close proximity to Jule’s for karaoke! Had a blast. Didn’t want to leave. We are already planing to come back with our families next time.

The property is overall fine. Some appliances need updating and the house needs to be sprayed for bugs (ants and roaches).
The layout is good. Everything accessible on the island.

We are glad you had a great time on the island! We will pass the feed back to the owner about the appliances. All of our homes are on monthly pest control, but we will alert the pest control company of the issue.
We enjoyed England's Blessing. It was tucked into the small "neighborhood" of Lighthouse Landings with a very short walk to the dock. Loved the peace and quiet, enjoying coffee on the deck, listening to fish jump out on the dock, playing pictionary with the kids, and hosting friends for a chili dinner. The kitchen was stocked with everything we'd need for a dinner. Easy access to the market and clubs. Golf carts worked great!

Jessica, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed England's blessing as much as we do! I hope to have you back in the future.
This home was perfect for our friend groups long beach weekend. The house was very clean and a great layout for a group. The location is 1 min from Old Baldy and an easy walking distance from the Ferry. The only downside from the house is it is not marsh front. There is another identical house in front of it that is marsh front. You can access the marsh and pier by the boardwalk attached to England's Blessing that walks beside the other house. Overall, we would stay here again happily!

Great family stay.
Good location on the creek and near the lighthouse and marina. Nearby Block of homes are Currently under construction so outside property looks like a construction zone but inside was brand new. Perfect for our family of 6.
Couple items to address:
Need paddles and life jackets for kayaks.
Need better defined access to creek during construction.
No beach chairs were provided.
Property manager was attentive to address issues.

Great stay but amenities are worn
We spent a long weekend here and had a wonderful time. It's spacious, in a great location by the creek and about halfway between the marina and market and a decent value. Overall, it was very nice and I'd stay here again. With a little bit of sprucing this would be 5 stars easily.
A few things to note - there is a house between you and the creek. You are steps away but there is no view as the picture may imply.
The den furniture is showing quite a bit of wear and tear. There are stains, holes, rips and tears on the couches.
The beach amenities have seen a better day. I too live at a different beach and there comes a point, when things must be replaced - many items are well beyond that point. The beach chairs are completely rusted and nearly unusable - the bikes are useable but very rusty. There were 4 fishing poles but only one had a reel and the tip was broken off that one. Small things in the grand scheme of things but would be bothersome if I was there for a whole week.
Also - we were there for 2 nights and paid $175 for a cleaning fee which was extremely high to begin with. Then to find out I had to wash my own towels and strip my own beds! I had to wonder what I was paying the $175 for, considering when I checked in there was a half drunk open beer in the fridge.

We are glad you had a great time and appreciate your feedback. We will definitely correct the items you mentioned. As far as the cleaning we do ask our guests to strip the beds and start a load of towels. We supply a lot of amenities for our guests and it takes time for the items to wash and be ready and perfect for our next guests. We hope to have you again soon!
We loved our weekend trip to England's Blessing! The house was very spacious and we loved being able to walk down the docks to the creek. Having two golf carts was perfect for our family and the property management was very helpful and quick when one of them got a flat tire. Only thing that surprised us was the refrigerator didn't have an ice maker! We found ice trays and made some, but that was a little surprising being at the beach. Also, the tram seemed to not know where we staying based on the address given to us in the emails, but that may have been the driver since the pick up went smoothly. Just have the pictures from the listing since that helped him know where to take us. Thanks for having us - we enjoyed our time!
We've stayed at many houses on BHI. Really enjoyed our first stay at this house in the Lighthouse Landing development. It was our first time on the marsh side of the island & we really enjoyed using the kayaks every day. Being near the marina and the maritime market was also a plus. The only problem we ever had was with the Internet, but a staff member came over that day and provided us with a hotspot to use until the wifi was working again, so that was much appreciated. They also promptly brought over an extra blanket when we requested one. I would happily book one of their properties again.
Our family had a lovely time on our long weekend break to Bald Head Island. England's Blessing was absolutely prefect. Very spacious, well equipped , and nice having access to kayaks and bikes . We loved ending each day on the dock just steps away to watch the sunset and view Old Baldy.
My family of three humans and one dog loved our weekend getaway on BHI. The location is top notch. So close to the Lighthouse and the marina but quiet in the woods with the marsh behind us. I can’t remember the last time my family was this happy and relaxed. I loved the kayaks on site and the community dock. The property does need a good deep clean. Quite a few spiders and webs inside-in defense of the cleaning service though the ceilings are pretty high and tough to reach. There was old fishing line left on the outside table and the deck could use a good power washing. This being said my family would be back to England’s Blessing next weekend if we could.
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at England’s Blessing. It was clean, convenient, and had lots of games and baby gear to keep our young sons entertained and safe. We loved walking down to the marsh in the morning and wandering down to see Old Baldy. We would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful week and property! This is the perfect place for two families and kids. The Kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything you need (plenty of plates, utensils, kitchen gadgets, pots and pans and serving bowls). The house included games, bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, and kayaks. Beach towels were available although we had our own. Two golf carts were perfect, allowing us to keep one loaded with “beach stuff”. It was such a great week - we will absolutely be back!
Nice property. Our family really enjoyed it! Perhaps a little more dated than some other homes we have stays in @ BHI, but the location on the marsh/creek with easy access for paddleboarding and fishing definitely made up for it!
