Superb Villa with Private Pool and Sea Views

Villa Sainte Pierre is set back approx. 300m from the Bay of Sainte Tropez off the road to Grimaud. The location is 5 mins walk from the beach.
This spacious villa accommodates 10 - 12 people with bedrooms and living areas located on both floors making the property very suitable for two families or similar combinations. The Villa was completely refurbished in 2009 and it is tastefully decorated and furnished. Bedlinen and towels are provided. There are terraces suitable for dining which overlook the pool area and have views of the bay. This tastefully decorated villa has a large heated pool, gardens, parking, terrace dining over looking the bay which is full of spectacular boats and yachts. Also WI-FI, TV, air conditioning. Off road cycle/walking path to Ste Maxime. Cycle hire available in town. Sainte Maxime is full of restaurants for every taste and for all occasions and you don't need to drive as it is only 1.5km. Port Grimaud in the opposite direct , great to cycle to on market days. Ferry service to St Tropez from Ste Maxime goes every 15 minutes. Monday is the only day where there isn't a local market. These markets are full of fashion, bags, jewels, shoes as well as local produce - great fun. There is a sailing club for windsurfers/Hobie-cats etc.

Spacious villa in good location. Great for large families. Well supported by property manager.My expectation when booking a villa in this price class is being provided a reasonable amount of daily essentials (toilet paper, dish detergent, hand soap, etc.) . It took more then a week to get the pool issues resolved m, however the pool was enjoyed by all.

Wonderful villa, fantastic pool

This is a very comfortable and well outfitted home. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and they are all equally nice. The heated pool is fantastic. Nicely decorated and an easy walk to town. Highly recommend.

Great Location!

Villa is located in a gated neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach and biking/walking trails. Sainte Maxime is a short drive or bike ride (about 2 km). Port Grimaud is also very convenient. Saint Tropez is a short ferry ride from the Ste. Maxime port. The house is larger than the photos with 5 bedrooms (3 upstairs and 2 downstairs). There are 6 bathrooms. 2 living rooms upstairs and a large living area downstairs (it does have a bit of a musty smell to it). The kitchen and dining area are large and well stocked with tableware and utensils. The pool is very nice and heated. The laundry room was a disappointment because the dryer did not work. There is gated parking for 1 car. The sea view is very small/limited. The managers - Nathalie and Padraig - were very responsive and good communicators. We were a group of 4 adults but this property could easily handle 8-10 people. Would be great for a couple of families with kids. It is a good value for the size of the house and its location.

Lovely villa. Plenty of room for family holiday for 8 adults and 3 children including a baby.

Situated in St Maxime. But a little to far. For a walk into the town for some of the younger and older members of the family. Easy to drive down and park in the Town centre. Beaches nearby in easy walking distance from villa. Pool is lovely with sunbeds and umbrellas and beach towels provided. Has gas barbecue for outdoor cooking and large range cooker in kitchen. All bedrooms have ensuites.. Washing and drying facilities too. No maid service during our two week stay but we just washed and dried towels etc ourselves . So many places to visit and things to do . Visits to Gorges of Verdon and Lake St Croix recommended as well as closer trips out to St Tropez (by boat not car) Port Grimaud and Nice.

Amazing Property

The house was much larger than I expected from the photos on VRBO, and suited our party well. We had 11 people in the house ranging in age from 5 to 70, and we were not in any way crowded. The pool and patio(s) were a highlight. Great location. It is possible to walk into Ste. Maxime, but it isn't a short stroll. There was a very nice beach in easy walking distance (Plage des Cigales), which saved a lot of potential parking angst. My only complaint is that the sofa bed is not really usable by an adult-sized person. It was pretty amazingly bad, but fortunately we had a 6-year-old who was quite happy with it. Nathalie, the property manager, was pleasant and easy to deal with and very responsive when we needed her. This house has spoiled me for all future vacations.

South of France with Friends

We were 8 adults on holiday from Australia, we drew straws for the rooms, unfortunately, we got the downstairs room...no air-conditioning, it was hot and there were some fans but only one worked! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time here! The villa needs a little bit of updating, decor, TV's and the oven was hard going at times! These are small things and when updated, the Villa would be superb. We had an issue with a door not locking and after contact with the owner, a carpenter came to fix in good time! I think the cost of the Villa was in line with the overall condition so not as expensive as others in the area. The location is fine but a good 25mins walk to town with a steep uphill climb when approaching the Villa coming home. We all loved the the grounds, the outdoor furniture, the pool, the garden (lots of shade) and the distant ocean views! As a group, we had a ball and despite of what I have said, we loved the character of the Villa, lots of space for individual privacy on occasions. I would definitely stay here again and when a few of those updates are completed, it would be perfection!

STAY AWAY, Owner doesn't care about guests comfort

The house is nice but it is a little too far to walk to beaches and restaurants etc, especially in the summer sun. However our week was ruined by the air conditioning being broken on the day of our arrival. All we kept being told was that it will be fixed tomorrow and I'll be in touch. We ended up being been therr all week and it never got fixed. We were travelling as a family of 4 with 2 small children and my wife was 3 months pregnant, we would never have booked anywhere without Aircon and have found it very difficult spending the week at around 30degree plus with no reprieve. If the villa had been prepared prior to our arrival and the aircon put on the day before or even earlier in the day it would have been obvious to anyone that it did not work and therefore provisions could have been made to help make our stay more comfortable(ie rent some stand alone aircon units). As it was, it was us who contacted the manager on the Sunday after our arrival to report the issue. I must say the house manager Charlotte & her husband Mark are lovely people and have continually apologised profusely, but they can only work within the remit they are given and apologies do not make up for a week of poor sleep. They did bring some fans mid week but these did not help much as they just blow the hot air around. Then on Wednesday they brought a small cool air fan unit that you put ice in that they had from her parents, and I thank them for this. However if you can not provide the service you have offered, and sold, then you should make alternative provisions available not let paying guests suffer. If you are not able to fix the issue you should offer adequate redress. I have said all week that if it can not be fixed then please let us know and we would go and book into a hotel or try and find alternative accommodation, however, it's always we will be in touch or it will be fixed tomorrow. We will be making a formal complaint to owners direct on our return and we will be seeking adequate compensation through whatever means necessary. Needless to say this has put me off staying in private villas. Do not give this owner your money, stay somewhere else and do not risk wasting your money on someone who has no concern for your comfort during your stay.

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances en famille à 10 personnes avec un bébé de 1 an. Superbe maison, très spacieuse avec de nombreux rangements, et propre, à 20/30 min à pieds du centre de Sainte Maxime, et à 10 minutes des plages, donc idéalement située si on veut éviter de prendre la voiture. chaise haute et lit parapluie à disposition. Un grand merci à Nathalie pour sa rapidité et son efficacité quand le lave vaisselle s’est retrouvé bouché ! Juste une petite remarque concernant la cuisinière à gaz, dont les brûleurs dysfonctionnent, ce qui génère une forte odeur de gaz dans la maison quand on cuisine… ce qui nous a contraints à cuisiner de façon différente. Faire chauffer de l’eau pour des pâtes pour 9 personnes vous prendra une bonne heure , mais heureusement, la bouilloire permet d’accélérer les choses ! À mon avis, à revoir de façon assez urgente pour une question d’économie et surtout de sécurité !Propriété magnifique et spacieuse également : Barbecue à gaz, grand piscine, grande terrasse, patio à l’ombre d’un énorme olivier, de nombreux transats et parasols … Bref un merveilleux séjour pour tous ! Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir très vite

Ein schönes Haus aber leider mit viel Pech

Der Pool ist fantastisch, das Haus sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gerade noch okay. Betten sollten erneuert werden und auch die Küche. Der Grill ist kein Grill sondern eine Plancha Platte die sich nicht zum guten grillen eignet. Die Lage ist perfekt der Pool und die Außenanlagen auch. Es hättest perfekte Urlaub werden können aber leider wurden wir in dem Haus 2 mal ausgeraubt und das finden wir seltsam.

Schönes geräumiges Haus mit vielen Mängel an der Sicherheit für kleine Kinder. Nicht verschliessbare Türen zum Pool. Bodenplatten abgebrochen und grosse Fugenrisse. Vordach Stützrohr durchgerostet . Feucht muffige Räume im Untergeschoss. Nicht in allen Räumen W-Lan empfang.

Geniales Ferienhaus für grosse Gruppen

Ich war mit meinen 3 Kindern deren Partnern und ihren 5 Kindern ( 1 1/2 bis 12 Jahre) 1 Woche da. Sehr angenehm war die durch ein Einfahrtstor geschützte Straße, die nur mit Code zu erreichen war. Die große Küche war besonders fein. Es gab in jedem Zimmer ein Bad und WC, und extra nochmals 2 WCs in jedem Stockwerk. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wenn auch alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und verschiedene Dinge dringend einer Reparatur bedürften. Jedoch funktioniert alles und mit kleinen Kindern ist es eher angenehm, wenn nicht alles 100 % geschnigelt und geschleckt ist. Einziges Manko ist für mich die Lage. Nach Ste. Maxime kommt man zu Fuß zwar schon, aber für Kinder oder ältere Leute eher zu lang und die Straße nebenbei ist seeehr befahren und staut fast zu jeder Tageszeit. Die Strände hatten lzwar Duschen, jedoch konnte man sie ob der Wasserknappheit nicht benutzen.. Resumee: wenn man nur im Haus bleibt mit Pool und schönem Garten und gemütlicher Terrasse, dann ist das Haus der absolute Joker. Wir hätten es locker noch eine Woche gut dort ausgehalten.

Villa at Sainte-Maxine

Villa was in an ideal location. The pool was excellent and useable by children of any age. Communication with property manager was via What’s App and she was easily contactable. The villa was comfortable clean and large. Would definitely use again.

Oud, vies en achterstallig onderhoud

Kleine slaapkamers, kleine bedden 140cm met slechte matrassen, kleine douchecabines, haperende en stinkende airco’s die het niet altijd doen. Kapot geknapte waterleiding die de slaapkamers overstromen. Slecht internet en bovenal een contactpersoon die dus zeer laconiek reageert als de airco’s het niet doen of als er een waterleiding spontaan knapt met overal waterschade als gevolg.

Entspannung pur

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem Haus. Zimmer, Bäder, Küche, Aussenbereich und Pool sind sehr gepflegt und strahlen echte Urlaubsatmosphäre aus. Auch die Lage nahe Ste.Maxime hat unseren Erwartungen voll entsprochen.

Nice stay however with some remarks.

We have had a very nice 2 weeks stay. A nice and spacious house with a fantastic terrace and pool area. However, the house appeared quite worn and there were some areas where it did not meet our expetations i.e. spots in more bathrooms were out of order, only 1 out of 4 outdoor lamps on the terrace were functioning, the TV and the manuals for having this functioning was not in place. In the kitchen area there were too few knives, glasses and pots and the kitchen knives were useless . Many minor issues that impacted the overall impression. But a nice place with a nice location.
