Casa Nika is located near Carvoeiro, a typical old Portuguese fishing village. Nature lovers will enjoy spectacular cliff top walks (including Seven Hanging Valleys and a walk to Benagil Caves) starting at the doors of the apartment, gold sand beaches and occasional walk in Monchique eucalyptus hills. Fantastic local restaurants with live Fado singers are close by, and so are shops and golf and tennis courses. There is a lot to do for all tastes: sports and leisure, culture, arts, local cuisine, and all within easy reach! Casa Nika is only 30 min drive from the Algarve airport - Faro. The Casa Nika apartment is part of a safe and private condominium of 24 similar apartments. The apartment is spacious, cosy, and private, always cool and relaxing. Very family and kids friendly and comfortable, equipped with everything for a fantastic stay: modern complete kitchen, large nice bedrooms, cosy lounge with a fireplace for all year stay, large terraces with comfy garden furniture and access to condominium gardens, and a beautiful pool. Our stay was an all-around good experience. The entire apartment was clean and well-equipped. Screens on the windows to keep out the mosquitoes would have been nice, but we realize that many accommodations in the Algarve do not have screens.
The cliff-top boardwalk located between the apartment and the town of Carvoeiro.

Fantastic rental

Stayed here for just under a week with two other friends. Veronica welcomed us with a bottle of local wine, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She was super responsive to any questions we had. The place itself was everything we needed and in a fantastic location for us about ~30 minutes walking distance from Carvoeiro itself, but less than 10 minutes from the Seven Hanging Valleys trailhead and beach. It made for really easy day trips to Benegil, Monchique, and Portomao. The temperature during our stay was great, so we just opened the windows at night and it was cool enough to sleep. There were plenty of fans in the bedroom closets had it been hotter, but we didn't try them out. The kitchen was very well set up (dishwasher, stove, oven, lots of dishes), the only thing worth noting in advance is you need to bring all the basics yourself (eg., salt, pepper, oil, etc). This was a bit inconvenient for us coming from North America so we didn't bring anything with us, and then ended up leaving all our leftover staples. But that was minor in our overall experience. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Felt very reasonably priced for the value.

Very nice property. We didn’t notice that the property didn’t have air conditioning before we booked but it stayed fairly cool with the window open and fans (even for this time of year). It was clean but would recommend putting all food in air tight container or fridge as it will draw ants otherwise. Great place overall. I would recommend to friends.

Best experience ever

The location is superb, the unit is spacious and can easily accommodate two couples or even small families. Squeaking clean. The kitchen is fabulous and the terrace is inviting, yet the pool was the greatest attraction. However, it was the hosts who made our stay so special. They provided all necessary little things that made our life in their apartment absolutely trouble free. In my vast experience it was the first rental where the hosts took care of the kitchen knives and sharpened them. That speaks volumes. And of course their tips helped us explore the beautiful coast, pick local restaurants, etc. Kudos to the hosts! I highly recommend Veronica’s apartment.

Canadian seniors

Everything was as expected in the condo, except for heating. There were 3 space heaters, one in each bedroom and one in the living room. They worked very well, but left the rest of the condo chilly. We were surprised at the mention of a possible extra charge for overuse of electricity. Hopefully we won’t get one!All in all, a great condo in a lovely location. Be sure to do the Seven Hanging Valleys trail - spectacular!!

A great stay!

Great stay. Very large, clean and quiet accommodation. Had everything we needed, plus the bonus of a washing machine! Very short walk to a lovely beach, (which seemed a lot less busy the times we were there than other beaches we visited) and a variety of restaurants close by.

Super séjour

L’appartement se situe dans une résidence, où il y fait bon vivre Résidence calme, avec une grande piscine très bien entretenu Gros point fort pour l’environnement, attention tous de même résidence excentré du centre ville et de l’agitation mais nous qui recherchions le calme c’était parfait Porte d’entrée se situe à l’arrière de l’ensemble du bâtiment lorsque que nous garons sur le parking Entrée / départ très facile avec le système de la boite à clé L’appartement est très spacieux et beaucoup plus grand a ce qu’il parait sur les photos, 2 salle de bains Literie très confortable, très bien équipée, logement propre Petit point faible, changement de la plaque de cuisson car celle actuelle fais le job mais faut être patient et le manque de Clim au sein du logement

Very comfortable apartment

The property is a good size, although the second shower room is very small with no storage units. However, the outside areas to both front and back of the property were excellent with tables, chairs, loungers and a large umbrella. Overall a very pleasant stay in an excellent location.

Die Wohnung ist ganz okay. Aber leider war es bei unserer Ankunft in allen Räumen sehr kalt. Es ging sehr lange bis es einigermassen warm war. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem. Die Matratzen hart. Und zum zudecken nur eine verwaschene Wolldecke und ein Leintuch. Wir haben gefroren in der Nacht. Eine ganz liebe Nachbarin hat uns mit einer Steppdecke und einem Kissen ausgeholfen. Überhaupt sind alle Nachbarn sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage wäre sehr angenehm und gut. Aber leider sind sie im Moment auf dem Nachbargrundstück am bauen. Und das sogar am Sonntag. Aber das geht ja vorbei. Unser Typ an die Vermieter: Vier neue Betten mit guten Matratzen, Duvets und gute Kissen. Die Gäste würden es Ihnen danken. Es würde die Wohnung sehr aufwerten 👍

Rocha Brava area rental
