hi this house was perfect for our family and location to beach, restaurants and other were great. This owner is selling the property so there are some things, namely appliances like the ice machine, fridge and washing machines that need some attention. Nothing that truly impacted our vacation. The management company was incredibly responsive.

To say we were obsessed with this house is an understatement! It was absolutely perfect for our large group. We never once felt crowded and it had all the necessities we needed plus some. The house, pool, double fridge, double dishwasher, ice machine, backyard, grill, endless beds…. the list could go on and on, were all perfect! And not only was the house amazing, but the staff and crews were so quick to respond and help with anything we needed. We all want to go back to Destin for this house alone and make it a yearly destination spot!!! 5 stars all around!

Great for groups

Plenty of space for everyone to relax. The kitchen is sparce but the weekend was a big hit. Would stay again!

Property is nice, but I was definitely disappointed for the price I paid!! This property needs significant upgrades, we had to call for maintenance 3-4 times for the ice machine, dryer made terrible noise and would not dry the clothes, golf cart quit working, floors were filthy, made our feet black walking on them, and we had several small children, cushions outside are disgustingly dirty, we did have a good time regardless of all of this!! But I just wanted to say what I thought!! Thank you!!

Very clean, comfortable beds, spacious, great location, the pool is amazing! We had 22 people and there was pleanty of space for all of us. The property manager was very nice and communicated well.

Had a wonderful stay! My parents, siblings, spouses and grandchildren from 2-19. 24 of us in total! We loved how close it was to the beach just barely a couple minute walk. Everyone loved the golf cart and swimming pool. Just had a tremendous time.

Great location and Great House

The place was great, conveniently located, huge, great pool and outdoor area. Normally pools on Florida are tiny and this one was not. Great layout perfect for large family’s of all ages

Everything overall was exceptional at Born to Sun. There was plenty of room for everyone, the walk to the beach was super short and easy, and the huge pool was fantastic. The only issues we came across was the back door to the patio/pool locking every time it closed and the keypad didn’t work so we had to either leave cracked or walk around to other back door. My parents also found a pair of underwear in their bedroom behind the chair that didn’t belong to our party. The dryer on the first floor didn’t dry well, so we only utilized the set on the second floor which was totally fine. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed and having two fridges and dishwashers was super convenient. The staff was always quick to respond to texts regarding questions or concerns about the property so that was very helpful! Overall, we would definitely stay here again and had a great time! Thanks!

Perfect for big group

We had such a great stay at this beautiful house. Communication was great! Pool and outside seating area had room for all 20 of us easily. Easy and close beach access with chairs and umbrella were nice as well!

Great beach vacation

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was a great house for our big family. The walk to the beach was easy, and it was really nice having the private beach (less crowded than others areas). We did have trouble with the internet working properly and the upstairs washer had some mold. Other than a few minor issues, the house and location were great.

Large family!! This is the place!!

only about 2 minute walk to the beach and having 4 chairs already reserved for us was a definite plus !. This part of the beach is not crowded since no high-rise condos in this section. Very nick pool to relax in as well.. Kids had a great time after going to the beach and still get more fun time at the house. Any issues were dealt with promptly by the host.

Family Reunion Vacation

The house was perfect with every couple having a master suite and lots of bunk beds for the kids. Since we did all of our own meals, it was nice having ample kitchen space for cooking. The backyard pool was wonderful and the kids enjoyed it morning to night! The short distance to the beach allowed us to walk back and forth easily. We’re already talking about our next vacation!

Great Stay

The house was spacious with a walking distance to a private beach. It’s nice to have a private beach since the public beach nearby was packed during the day. The weather wasn’t nice when we stayed but having a big pool saved the trip. All the kids and adults loved the pool. I loved the fact that the management was just a text away. They responded very quickly and tried to accommodate us as best as they could. Definitely recommend this beautiful house!

Fun beach house with great pool

The was a very nice beach house and the pool, outside patio and kitchen amenities were superb. The downsides were the house internet was very flaky and some bedrooms had no wireless internet access at all. Additionally, I paid for use of the elevator for my elderly parents and one guest with a disability but the elevator was very difficult to use and stopped working completely half way through the stay.

Excellent Location and Very Well Maintained house

First the great things about the property. * Excellent Location * Big House with tons of rooms * Great Pool and Jacuzzi area * Big kitchen with lots of utensils * Nice Barbeque and outdoor kitchen with Icemaker * Parking for up to 7 cars * Everything is close to the house * Downstairs pool bathroom with Steam is like heaven... everyone enjoyed that a lot Now, not so great things and areas of improvements * Very small living and dining room for the house sized for 30 people * Pool Table needs complete replacement. The table, Cue Sticks, and balls are all completely worn out. We were looking for some great games, but could hardly play any * The game room on the 2nd floor is oddly located. If you want to play games late at night, you can't, since there are 4 bedrooms all around the pool table area * It would be better to move the pool table in the downstairs bedroom, converting it into the game area * They need to add more trash bins for the property, we struggled to place the trash by the end of 3rd day since trash is picked only once a week. * I understand this is covid times, but the checkout ought to be at least by 10 AM. 9 AM checkout with these many folks and kids is difficult. I would have given it full 5 stars, but for the worn-out pool table and the smaller living/dining area, I would rate it at 4.5 stars.

We can definitely put more trash cans on property, we know that a crunch with a large group. Trash in the neighborhood is picked up twice a week but probably fell awkward with the shorter 4-night stay, we would've been happy to remedy this with a dedicated pickup at your request. Fantabulous

Its the best beach vacation we ever had. It has all you need for a fun gathering. We went as group of 4 families. Its right next to beach with private access. Its had big heated pool. It has enough room for everyone. Everything is excellent n clean. We felt the pictures listed in VRBo are not well taken and condo looks slightly outdated in pictures, but in real its very updated. Please re shoot the pictures. Having said all these good things there are just few suggestions like pool not getting heated enough, bunk beds doesn't have fan or airflow, would be nice if they provide elevators for free instead of additional charge. otherwise this is the place to go for large group. Thanks and will visit again.

Fantastic spring break rental home for multi family group

Overall the property was great! The property management team was very responsive. Only had a few minor issues but overall went well. Great walking distance to the beach and private access. Definitely looking to book again in the future!
