Riad Al Janoub - Boutique Riad in Marrakech - ENTIRE RIAD - RECENTLY RENOVATED

Riad Al Janoub is an ancient merchant's house which has been lovingly restored in an elegant and contemporary Moroccan style. The 4 stylish and comfortable bedrooms are arranged around a courtyard with palm trees and a beautiful mosaic fountain. All rooms are ensuite with air conditioning and ipod holders. The rooms are decorated with hand carved furniture, rugs, mirrors and ornaments sourced from the souqs of Marrakech. All bathrooms are decorated using traditional tadalekt with hand beaten copper wash basins and beautiful Moroccan lanterns. The roof terrace, with its orange trees, has a large covered seating area and 3 sun loungers - the perfect place to relax in the sunshine or enjoy an evening sun-downer. Our housekeeper and chef, Amina, will greet you on arrival with mint tea and prepare you a traditional Moroccan breakfast each morning. Lunch or dinner can also be provided on request, served to you in the dining room, salon, or by candle light on our beautiful terrace.

Beautiful riad and wonderful host

This riad is a short walk from where the van dropped us off. Ibrahim kept in communication with us and met us at the van. He served Moroccan mint tea and biscuits and helped us with any questions we had. He even met two of the people from our group who had a flight delay at 11:30 at night. The home is beautiful, and he even had breakfast set up early for us since we had to leave to catch a van out of town. It was the perfect example of Moroccan hospitality in a beautiful renovated riad. I would definitely stay here again.

Riad, très sympa au cœur de la médina avec une salle de bain et un toilette pour chaque chambre à la fois cosy et très confortableJames le Propriétaire est très disponible à chaque demande sur le site Après nous avons été accueilli par Brahim qui met tout en œuvres pour vous vous sentiez chez vous et vous faciliter la vie là-bas ( réservation de restaurant, activité au taxi), puis il y a Amina pour vous préparer le petit-déj’ Local et éventuellement si vous le souhaitez un bon repas, typique marocainUn super séjour, je recommande vivement.

Beautiful riad

Spacious freshly painted riad with a very large terrace. A perfect retreat from the bustle of town. The hosts Brahim and Amina were very nice and happy to help with everything. They gave us lots of information and arranged for our transportation.

Amazing place and people

My family stayed. It was a great location for Medina but also quick access out. Brahim and Amina were excellent, helpful and kind, they helped us a lot. We spent 4 nights and are planning our next trip back. Each room with your own bath and air conditioner is great..and the upper patio is wonderful.

Amina and Brahim were excellent and made our stay at Riad Al Janoub very enjoyable. They were more than attentive to our needs and helpful in every way but, at the same time, gave us our privacy. Amina prepared an excellent breakfast each morning as well as dinner for one of our two nights of our stay. The food was freshly prepared and reflected the local cuisine. Brahim was available at a moments notice. I would highly recommend this property f you want to to immerse your self in the local community.

Great location in Medina. Close to gate for easy pickup for activities outside Medina and easy walking distance to center of Medina. Ibrahim was so helpful and Armenia’s cooking was terrific

Très belles vacances

Ce Riad est très bien situé dans la vieille ville duquel nous avons pu nous déplacer très souvent à pied, Brahim a été très serviable et a organisé à la perfection toutes nos attentes, Amina est une excellente cuisinières, tous les repas que nous avons pris sur place nous ont régalés les papilles, ils sont vraiment adorables ce qui embellit encore plus votre séjour.

Very Special Experience

This Riad is very special. Staying here added such a genuine environment to our experience in Marrakech. The 3 stories are very spacious. Amina and Brahim are SO kind and friendly and helpful - they made our stay VERY nice. The Riad is very well located - inside the Medina walls, but not right in the middle of all of the noise and busyness. Highly recommended.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful city

This was such a lovely experience. Brahim, the host welcome us with tea and cookies. He was communicative and always available. There was one evening he even delivered food to our riad when we were weary from traveling. The place was so clean. Amina did an excellent job of maintaining the place, making our beds and providing us with a delicious breakfast. The A/C was key during the week we were there. Hot water was also available if we wanted (but we all took cold showers in the heat). The place was so nicely decorated and felt like a true authenticate stay. Would recommend it highly.

Beautiful traditional home in a well located area, close to the medina. The hosts were amazing. Amina and Ibrahim would come every morning to make us breakfast and see if we needed anything. We stayed in touch with Ibrahim even after checking out asking for directions while on the road to our next destination. Would strongly recommend this place to friends and family.

Brahim en Asmin zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Asmin heeft een avond voor ons gekookt en dat was het lekkerste dat wij in Marrakech hebben gegeten. Elk verzoek dat wij aan Brahim hadden werd meteen ingewilligd. De riad is prachtig aangekleed met een prachtig dak terras

Excellent Riad in the city!

Excellent Riad! Very beautiful property. We were 6 people, the host was amazing. Clear communication and very helpful. Once in Riad, Brahim is there to help out. He even arranged dinner for us on both nights on our requests. Found us a driver to take us around the city. Basically any questions any time you will have someone to help you. Loved the spaces especially the rooftop!! Would defo like to visit again! Aman

Excellent séjour au riad Al Janoub

Riad très agréable, bien situé et bien restauré. Seul bémol la robinetterie qui laisse à désirer, robinets non fixés, douche qui éclabousse. La terrasse est absolument magnifique et très agréable. Les petits déjeuners d'Amina sont somptueux sans oublier les tajines et couscous délicieux. Brahim d'une grande gentillesse a toujours été à nos petits soins, transferts, trouver un hammam, une excursion quad, etc .... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je recommande ce riad.

A magical stay at Riad Al Janoub

We had an amazingly magical experience right in the Medina at Riad Al Janoub. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the care of Brahim and Amina was excellent.
