Apartment Overlooking Pool And Gardens, Our Other Has Sea/ Mountain Views

This is a modernised and renovated 2 bedroom apartment and sleeps 4 comfortably. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, overlooking the gardens and pool and gets afternoon sun each day. An ideal base for couple or small families. There are plenty of attractions close by, Tivoli world, Sea Life, Aqualand, Crocodile Park, Selwo Dolphin Park. Also within a short walking distance is Paloma park where you can feed the ducks, have a stroll and chill out. We also have another apartment on the same floor which has been modernised. So ideal if two families want to holiday together but want their own space. The apartment is in a quiet residential area of Benalmadena. We also have other apartments in different blocks, please enquire. Puerto Marina is ten minutes away and there are lots of restaurants, gift shops and activities for people of all ages. You can catch the ferry to Fuengirola, or hire a yacht! It is not necessary to hire a car but if you want to see some wonderful cities there are plenty of car rental companies, and if you book direct with Helle Hollis you can get a great discount with our membership. If you do hire a car please let us know so we can arrange a fob to the gated car park.

Was met at the apartment on time,then things went down hill. Before Claire the host left the building we had to get her back, there were 5 cockroaches inside the fridge on the rubbers. Claire sprayed them and we had to pull ths fridge out so she could spray behind as there were more there. The building was going through full refurbishment, which was the excuse but we should have been told about this as we would not have booked it. We still kept getting odd cockroaches and kep spraying. Next day went to use sunlougers but were broken, but fair enough they did replace them straight away.Two bulbs went in the kitchen they dropped some off so we had to change them.The mattress was badly stained (yellow) so we turned it over, we did not report this as things as things were getting a little upsetting, as all Claire kept saying about 5 times we have the apartment fumigated twice a year and we are very particular in cleanliness and it gets dissinfected before new arivals.Continued to get cockroaches,one night we counted 28, we kept spraying an it affected our health. We found the problem the sink unit was not sealed down, then the next day was an infestation. We asked for both Claire and Barry to come and see us but they were at the hospital ( ? ) next day we asked for them to come again as they live not far from the apartment but the said they were away (? ) It took two weeks to move us into apartment with dirty pots. We had an awful holiday with no respect. Run out of character

Many thanks for your review. The building has just had a €5 million grant and the building has been totally renovated. Everyone is delighted with the work - all new electrics, fibre optics, cables, fuse boards, flooring, plastering, patios, lifts, plus much much more that was completed before your stay. We bought brand new loungers to you on the day you told us, although you asked to keep one you said was broken and you forgot to tell us you broke one of the new ones before you left. You also forgot to mention we moved you to another apartment for your stay so we could get the apartment refumigated. The apartments are fumigated twice a year and have a guarantee. The sink you lifted somehow, was resealed when you left. The housekeeper also cieared bags of rubbish you did not take to the bins. Barry had been rushed into hospital and was having surgery (not that you needed to know this as it’s personal) and we have a team of people looking after our business - who actually helped you. We are sorry the weather was the worst it’s been for over forty years and you did not get to enjoy the many cultural events on during your stay. We tried our best to resolve anything you asked - re fumigation and moved you to another apartment, new loungers (one which you left broken), spare lightbulbs are kept in the drawer of the living room cabinet (but we brought you more round). We also noted on your arrival how on a stay in Fuengirola you made similar comments.

Great hospitality from the owners throughout our stay.

We had a marvellous stay in apartment 203 where everything was perfect. It has recently been renovated and we were the second Guests in and we could see the owners Barry and Claire had put much thought into everything from the fridge full of goodies on our arrival from the milk for a cuppa, beer to refresh us and bottles of red and white wine we both enjoyed on the balcony. There was plenty tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate to drink as well. Although we didn't eat in much as it was so cheap to eat out the kitchen was very well designed with full oven, hob and cooker hood, microwave with grill, fridge/freezer and a brilliant washing machine that had a great fast wash cycle. The beds were better than we have at home and mattresses lovely and thick and crisp linen sheets and large fluffy towels and on arrival we had towel art on the bed and a nice touch of a chocolate on each pillow. The bathroom was amazing with a rainforest shower, towel warmer and there was plenty of hot water all day every day. There was a tv in the living room and one of the bedrooms and it was great that we could watch different channels at the same time. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony most days although two days at the beginning it was rainy! We thoroughly enjoyed Benalmadena and walked our feet off as everything was close at hand. We went to Malaga on the train a few times and found the city welcoming and will definitely go back when we return to Benalmadena again. The public transport is frequent and timetables easy to follow and the fares excellent. We shall be returning again and as we are now retired will hope to stay for six weeks each stay and want to come over four times a year as we like to get away as often as we can now and enjoy our retirement. Thank you Barry and Claire we can see how much hard work you have put into apartment 203 and it was great to meet you at last. You really do go that extra mile and now we don't want to stay anywhere else. We shall be in touch shortly.

Cielomar apartment

Beautiful apartment which we stayed in April then again in September. The apartment is immaculate clean and all furnishings and fittings are of a high standard . The owners Barry and Claire we met and they are friendly and really care about their guests. Lovely little touches cold beer in fridge when we arrived and a guest hospitality tray . The apartment is home from home and all you need are your clothes . There is even body wash and body lotion supplied. Both myself and husband will only stay in this apartment in future as there could not be anything better .

We were lucky enough to buy this property quite a few years ago and have made lots of changes over the years. In 2018 new aircon has been fitted in each room, we had a new bathroom fitted with rain shower head and attachment over the full sized bath, new kitchen with ambient led lighting. New beds with orthopedic mattresses have been put in all apartments. We enjoy doing something each year to all our apartments. In 2019 we renovated the apartment and it looks fantastic! We like to do something new each year.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property for its central location, close to all amenities and local transportation. The apartment gets afternoon sun which we enjoy. The apartment is in a quiet residential area of the resort but close enough to the hustle and bustle of the popular Ibensa and Bonanza Squares.

What makes this property unique

Getting afternoon sun every day is great as you can enjoy a traditional sangria on the balcony or a nice cup of tea. You're in a quiet location of a beautiful resort where you can do absolutely nothing or keep yourself busy every single day. The complex is close to all amenities and us in walking distance to the wonderful Marina, local train station and Ibensa and Bonanza Squares.
