Only 20mins from the airport our apartment is situated in the exclusive Lakeside Village in Quinta do Lago close to the Ria Formosa nature reserve. The apartment is in close proximity to some of Europe's finest golf courses, water sports, bicycle hire and tennis courts. Close to the new CAMPUS sports complex and within walking distance to the beach, water sports and many restaurants, the apartment is ideal for exploring the Algarve and beyond. Many supermarkets a short drive away and beautiful shops in the Quinta centre.
Recently renovated, the apartment offers all year round accommodation thanks to underfloor heating and large wall heaters in all rooms. Being on the ground floor there is easy access through sliding patio doors to a large patio with alfresco dining table that extends to seat 6 easily, comfy sofa and chairs, parasol and loungers. The large pool is just seconds from the apartment with plenty of loungers and parasols for everyone. Pedro's pool bar is also here offering drinks and light snacks and of course ice cream for the children and adults alike!!
The lake offers various water sports including paddle boarding, sailing and kayaking and sun loungers and here we have "The Shack" serving meals and drinks from morning until dusk.

Gorgeous place

The apartment was fantastic, had everything we needed and was super peaceful. Had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time. Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo were beautiful, ubers were really cheap to get around. Lovely week, will be recommending to friends and family and we hope to be back.

Excellent facility and great location. Check-in process was extremely simple, straight forward with great communication. The facility itself is on the pool side and has been recently refurbished. Bathrooms and kitchens are modern and well appointed. The unit itself is a great size, we were a family of 4. Air conditioned through-out, with underfloor heating too.

Fantastic Apt, lovely location

We have been coming to Quinta Do Lago for many years and know Lakeside very well, however we have not stayed in this apt before. The location is fantastic, the Lakeside development is a great place to get away and relax and a lovely family location. It is also located very close to many amenities and attractions. Transport is helpful, however due to extremely high car rental costs, we chose to simply use Ubers this year, which worked out easier and cheaper than renting a car. In terms of the apt, it is wonderful. Well equipped, very nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The master bedroom is huge and has a lovely en suite. The 2nd bedroom worked well for 2 teenagers, who also had their own very nice bathroom. The kitchen is all super moderns and has all you could need. The living room is big a comfortable and there is a spacious terrace leading not to the gardens and pool. This was the first time we have stayed at Lakeside on the ground floor and I have to say it was a major benefit, it made the gardens and pool feel like they were part of the property rather than some where you could go to use. I would very much reccomend this property and the owner could not have been more engaging and helpful with info etc when required.

We live in Edinburgh so you can imagine why we love going to the Algarve. The weather is fantastic.
Our apartment is uniquely placed for most nature loving activities.
We are literally a walking distance from the beach with our apartment on the very edge of The Ria Formosa nature reserve; home of flamingos, egrets and many other wild birds.
You can cycle, golf, horse-ride, walk, surf - all within easy distances from where we live. Alternatively if you like sunbathing, we think we have one of the best pools in the Algarve.
There are dozens of restaurants available locally but we are also fully fitted for self catering. Whatever you want is there for you.
So you can see the attraction.

Why they chose this property

The main reason for buying our property was the almost certain guarantee of sunshine for most of the year.
However, we are both sea lovers and golf fanatics - but when not doing our hobbies, having the tranquility of the region makes this such a special place to relax. We also have a fine library for those who like reading together with a fine range of DVD's for the children as well as the adults.

What makes this property unique

The main benefits we have are the ease of access to the sea and beach, the proximity of golf, the quietness of the nature reserve and the fantastic swimming pool.
Additionally during the summer there is an excellent "family feel' to the village.
We have beautiful, unique gardens and views that we think are possibly one of the best in the Algarve.
