Il Pozzo e l'Ulivo (the water well and the olive tree) is located in a very quiet area of Catania, about 3.5 km from the crowded city center. Here you can enjoy the relaxing athmosphere of a typical Sicilian country house, or you can take a 10 minutes subway metro ride to Catania city center.

We are delighted to offer you a stunning 2-bedrooms apartment that can sleep up to five people. Both bedrooms are each provided with private bathroom and there is a fully equipped kitchen. With free wireless internet, outside is off road parking, and lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Just ten minutes from Catania city center. Additionally, a beautiful external Jacuzzi will be at your disposal from April to October.

For its position il Pozzo e l'Ulivo is the ideal startpoint for a number of exciting day trips to discover the beauty of the Sicilian eastern coast. Among the possible day trips we list Riviera dei Ciclopi (10 km), Etna (25 km), Taormina (50 km) and Siracusa (65 km).

We live in another apartment of the same property. We easily communicate in English, French, Spanish, Czech or Italian. Therefore, we will be more than pleased to help you to design your perfect holiday in Sicily

Great location! Close to the Meteo station. Well maintained and inviting.

Alessandro and Zuzanna were very good hosts and had many travel tips to share. They are a charming young couple. We enjoyed our 2 week stay at their property. The only negative was that the power went out for one evening during our stay. Not their fault. We loved Sicily. Very friendly and helpful. My wife speaks some Italian which helped.

Great stay in November

Fantastic owners, super available to help. We arrived at 1 am and the owner was waiting for us … We enjoyed the house and the fun time in Sicily. Garden and jacuzzi are perfect.

Great place to stay near Catania

It was such a great week spent on the lovely house of Zuzana and Alessandro. They were the best hosts ever. House itself was very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful garden and relaxing jacuzzi which was the best way to end the day with a glass of wine :) Zuzana and Alessandro were great, they gave us many tips about where to go/eat, always ready to help. We had a best holidays. Highly recommend this place and these people! :)

Consiglio vivamente a chiunque di soggiornarvi. Tutti i comfort a disposizione, due ampie camere mateimoniali separate, living con cucina vivibile, lavatrice. Le doccie sono spaziose, aria condizionata. Zona tranquillissima, niente caos! Stupenda la vasca idromassaggio che si trova nel giardino. Prato verde e fiori... Il proprietario ha il pollice verde😉. Live with the locals

Very nice property in interesting, authentic, local Catanian neighborhood. Pleasant, secure garden.. Very convenient for the Metro to go downtown. Driving in local traffic can be intense! Fun shopping locally. The owner was very helpful,, and lots of useful suggestions.

Casa muy cómoda buenos colchones y aire acondicionado en las habitaciones,los baños muy bien y un jardín con su cenador y un jacuzzi grande. Está un poco alejado de Catania unos 20 minutos en coche,pero hay una parada de metro cerca que te deja en el centro de Catania en 10 minutos

Gem in Catania

You couldn't ask for better accommodations or better hosts at this lovely villa. Zuzana and Alessandro were very gracious and helpful. Their local knowledge made our visit so much better. We are outside in the lovely garden almost every night. The villa itself is spacious with two good size bedrooms and a cozy kitchen. The washer came in very handy. We would come back again!

Siamo stati in questo meraviglioso posto qualche tempo fa e appena arrivati ci e' subito sembrato di immergerci nella natura pur essendo nei pressi del centro della meravigliosa Catania..location carinissima,molto confortevole ed accogliente,tutto in ordine e pulitissimo..annesso alle camere una bella veranda con un giardino stupendo....e come fiore all'occhiello i proprietari...due ragazzi gentilissimi..la signora Zuzana molto accogliente e deliziosamente premurosa in tutto...consigliatissimo a chiunque vuole trascorrere una vacanza in Sicilia....

bellissima vacanza!! una casa perfetta!

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il Pozzo e l Ulivo una decina di giorni d estate con nostro figlio di 3 anni. La casa e' molto bella, curata, arredata con gusto e accogliente. Due ampie camere da letto (una con possibilità di lettino per il bambino) due bagni molto belli e una graziosa cucina. Bellissimo il giardino, molto curato e spazioso...risulta piacevolissimo per una cena all aperto,per prendere il sole o per godere di momenti di relax. Per chi ha bimbi, una ottima opportunità per giocare un po all aria aperta. I proprietari sono persone gentilissime e disponibili. La zona e' tranquilla e molto silenziosa...rispetto ad altre zone della città mediamente piu fresca in estate. Nelle vicinanze negozi, bar e supermercati. Consigliatissima per vacanze in famiglia o anche in compagnia. Ottima come base per visitare la citta' o i dintorni. Utile per spostarsi l utilizzo di un'auto. Abbiamo passato una bella vacanza, apprezzata da grandi e piccini. Torneremo presto!!!
