Being frequent travellers to this region for over 20 years, we have enjoyed peaceful surroundings and beautiful countryside, alongside great food and wine. Being two very busy professional people we found the area a tonic to daily life. So finding this gem of a property was just a dream come true. Situated in a medieval village which has character, charm and culture with stunning views from the now ruined chateau at its summit. The Tower nestles at the entrance to the village where on level ground it is easily accessible to local amenities such as the shop, pharmacy and of course the local bar! With Le Bistrot restaurant & Pizzeria close by in the village square. We have now rented this house for holidays for over 7 years and we are happy to share this with like minded travellers. The house being a comfortable home offers space to entertain with all the necessary tools for a holiday and a great base to explore the area or just recline in the pretty garden or relax in the Spa Pool with a glass of something.... The area has great villages of charm such as Collonge la Rouge with its red stone houses and cafe restaurants, make sure to try Le Cantou for one of their legendary omelettes. There is pretty Meysac with its Wednesday & Friday markets or explore the local prehistoric caves. Most villages have Night Markets in July & August where you can buy local produce and cook it on the communal BBQ whilst sampling local wine! For activities, the Dordonge is only half an hour away for swimming, canoeing or cruises on the river. Either way there is something for everyone!

The house features a secluded garden with terrace for alfresco dining, sun loungers to relax during the day and a Spa Pool to cool off. A large salon with comfortable seating and dining area, with a fully equipped kitchen. The ancient tower leads you up to the 2 bedrooms sympathetically restored to give a modern and comfortable living accommodation, retaining character of the original building. Offering comfortable beds and bedding with a hairdryer in each room. The shower room is spacious with twin sinks and storage, heated towel rail and soft fluffy towels, with a separate WC and washing machine. Spa pool available for use during the summer, but additional charges for electricity will apply out of season, September to the end of June these are €20 per day to be paid in cash and this will be collected during your stay. The spa pool is free to use in July & August.
