The Trullo is situated in three acres of grounds on Sessana Grande, in between the towns of Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica. The area itself is regarded as a prime location embedded in an undulating rural landscape of olive, fruit and almond trees. The location of “Sessana” is perfect for easy access to all the nearby towns and the seaside. The nearest beach is a 15 minutes drive away. The “white town” of Ostuni is only five minutes away from Sessana. Ostuni is a lively and buzzing town in the Summer months. The old town with its two prominent churches straddles the top of a hill commanding some of the most magnificent views over the ancient olive trees that “carpet” the plain leading to the coast. Ceglie Messapica is equidistant from “Sessana” and has a very different feel to the more lively and upbeat Ostuni. Ceglie, as it is called by the locals, is a beautiful small town with an abundance of incredible restaurants and pretty lively town square.

The Trullo has three bedrooms; the master is en suite and opens onto the terrace. There is a further bathroom with bath on the ground floor and two double bedrooms on the lower ground floor, which share a marble shower room. All bedrooms have been tiled in handmade Italian tiles and are fully furnished. There is also an outdoor shower room next to the pool.

The Trullo has two alcoves which can be used either as a lounge or a sleeping area for children. The trullo has a tv, games, cards, books, dvd player, outdoor projector and fast broadband.

We can accommodate 6 adults and up to 4 children sleeping in the Trullo alcoves.

The kitchen is hand made, with a gas / electric range cooker with rotisserie and smeg fridge, dishwasher and air conditioning unit.

There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The covered terrace runs directly in front of the pool looking onto the olive grove, with some fifty trees. There is a lounge/seating area in front of the working fireplace and a dining table area for up to 12 people. The set up is particularly good for families with children.

The pool measures 5 x 10.

The sun terrace surrounding the pool has six sun loungers and a double campaign bed for sun bathing.

The terrace is also enclosed by a traditional style wall, with “English grass” surround.

There is a table tennis table and outdoor cinema area.

The bbq area is situated at the end of the pool and has an outdoor fridge, work area and sink.

There is also a roof terrace for yoga and sun bathing. Steps to the roof terrace are situated at the front and rear of the Trullo.

The entrance to the Trullo is served by electric gates and the house is fully alarmed and serviced by a security company who patrol the area.

Please be advised that the house is self catering. We will supply a welcome basket and ensure there are toilet rolls in all bathrooms and bin bags on arrival. However, please note that any restocking must be done by the guests.

We have wonderful house keepers Fran and Pietro, who can make restaurant reservations, organise additional cleaning, stock the house with wonderful local wines and foods, babysitting, massages etc (at an additional cost, payable direct).
