Lodge, 7 Bedrooms+Convertible bed(s), 5.5 Baths,(Sleeps 8-20), Hot Tub, Views
Your hosts, Hap, Margaret & Sarah Henderson, enjoying one of our favorite picnic spots just a short drive from our Blue River Lodge. For over a decade we have been hosting ski groups in winter and family reunions in summer.
Sarah purchased this Lodge in 1997
Why Sarah chose Warrior's Mark
We enjoy skiing in the winter but summers in Breckenridge are even better. We had been renting vacation homes in various parts of Colorado each summer and when we had an opportunity to purchase our 7 bedroom Blue River Lodge as a rental property next door to our personal 'Trout House' retreat we jumped at the chance.
What makes this Lodge unique
Our lodge is an easy walk to Main Street or just hop on the shuttle two doors down. We are the only home in town with a private fishing pond in addition to private river frontage. Hiking and mountain bike trails are nearby and the lifts at Peak Nine are also close by.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Great home for our family reunion!
Our family of 18 had a wonderful time in the Breckenridge area. The house is laid out just perfectly to share meals together, play games, and still be able to talk to those sitting in the living room by the fireplace. It is very peaceful in this area. The only thing that did not quite make sense until we got there was the room with the bunkbeds and the place you could put the rollaway bed. We thought this was one big room, but it was actually a smaller room with the bunkbeds, connected to the mud room That was a good size to put the rollaway bed. It ended up working out fine, as it gave someone else a private little room. I had my 80-year-old aunt in that room since she could be on the main floor and not have to walk up the stairs. We would highly recommend staying here as a family, because there is so much to do in the area that you can walk to you or take the free shuttle to. We had fun just relaxing as well In the home and playing games.
Beautiful home that was perfect for our group ski vacation!
This home was perfect for our large group of 4 families - plenty of room for the kids and adults! Made great use of the double washer/dryer, fridges, and stoves - there's plenty of pots and pans and every kitchen gadget you could possibly need. Great location with easy walk to the shuttle or cheap ride with Ski Uber to the lifts! Will definitely be coming back!
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire place, the ping pong table, and the foosball table. Lastly, of course we enjoyed our skiing at Breck and the fresh powder. We can't wait to come back for another ski trip at this wonderful house.
Well-appointed and comfortable for a group
The property is well appointed and was clean and well-stocked with all we needed. The living room is very comfortable with good seating and a nice fireplace. The kitchen too had everything we needed for our group of 10. Beds were comfortable and there were humidifiers provided to combat the dry air. Temperatures were comfortable and we didn't run out of hot water. Much use was made of the hot tub and the two sets of washers and dryers were put to good use. An off-the-kitchen laundry room also held a good supply of large pots and dishes useful for a group our size. Two ovens and a five-burner gas cooktop were ideal and we put the spare fridge in the garage to good use. In the garage there is a ping-pong table and fussball. We'd certainly come again if our group size warrants. Skiing is close by though not walkable in ski boots by us. The bus stop is fairly close and it's a 5-minute drive into the closeby lots. Highly recommended by our group. Thanks to Sarah!
A great home for family , views and close to town .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the views are amazing. The home was cozy. Very Close to town.
Nice walk to downtown
We really wanted to stay here because of the fishing pond for our grandkids. The pond is not fed by the river so there aren't any fish. We had to load the young ones up to fish elsewhere. Some of the furniture needs replacing along with carpet cleaning. Having 2 washers and dryers was terrific for all the towels. There are plenty of kitchen items. We were only lacking a pizza cutter. The mountain views are very peek a boo. There was enough back yard for the kids to play and a nice deck. The kids enjoyed the garage that was converted into a game room.
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! Most years the pond is fed by the river but this year was so dry and the river was low, so it wasn't high enough to feed the inlet to the pond. We will be upgrading a lot of furniture this fall as well. We will also replace the pizza cutter. We will also add a mid-season carpet cleaning to our current carpet cleaning schedule as well so that the carpet is clean for guests at the end of the Summer/Winter rental seasons. Thanks for bringing up your concerns, they will all be addressed!
Thanks again for your booking!
