Barbreck Cottage is on the south side of Campbeltown Loch. It is conveniently placed close (1 mile) to the centre of Campbeltown with its full array of services, but has uninterrupted views over the water towards Davaar Island and Arran. Spectacular coastal scenery is only a short drive away in several directions. The house was recently refurbished and extended. IDYLLIC PLACE

View s from the lovely Bungalow are amazing.Davvar island which we visited.Also you can see the isle of Arran..Woke up to a beautiful sunrise each morning...The bungalow is very spacious, comfortable every thing we needed was there..Also in a great spot to walk into the town..

A super cottage in Campbeltown

A brilliant cottage, warm, spacious with everything you could possibly need for a stay in this beautiful part of the country. Wonderful views. Great communication before our stay. Very comfortable beds. We’ve had a fantastic holiday and would love to return.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful location

We had a great week in Campbeltown. The cottage was an ideal distance to town and great for exploring the area. There was plenty of room in the house and garden for the children to run around. The cottage is well equipped and comfy with a great collection of books.

A lovely,clean, well equipped property in a great location. Great communication before our stay which made the check in process very easy. The parking area was suitable for one car but would have been a struggle if guests had additional vehicles. We hope to return for a future visit.

Probably the most comfortable cottage we’ve stayed in . Amazing value for money. Stunning location, glorious views of the Loch including the seals. Very convenient for Campbeltown. Cottage was gloriously warm , ample hot water and extremely well equipped. Welcoming touch of flowers, milk wine and biscuits much appreciated on arrival,

Lovely spacious cottage in fabulous location looking directly on to the Loch

This property is extremely spacious, it has 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and would easily accomodate a large family.Everything you could need was provided and to top it off there were gifts left for us of wine, chocolates, ice cream and a bottle of milk.Lovely touches and great communication with both the housekeeper and the owner when necessary.Just a short lochside walk into the small town where there are a few pubs and eating places.All in all we feel this property is very good value for money and would definately recommend it!

Perfect home away from home!

We spent the final week of a 4 week long trip to the UK at Barbreck Cottage. Everything was fantastic! We had plenty of room (actually more than we needed). The Primary Bedroom was bright, the bed and linens quite comfortable. The kitchen and living areas were also spacious and very comfortable. We were just a short mile walk from downtown Campbeltown and had everything we needed nearby. The view across the road of the Loch and the Island are beyond compare! We had a wonderful stay! They even accommodated my inept planning and let us move our entire stay ahead by one day. We were so grateful! We'll surely stay again when we return!!

Beautiful location with everything you need for a family self catering holiday. Communications with owner and housekeeper excellent. Not modern but homely clean and quirky with plenty of reading and games to keep you occupied. View was perfect, the walk into Campbeltown safe. Loved our stay and will be back.

Bedroom, kitchen, dining room and living room all have a beautiful lochside view. This was our second time staying and we'll be back again! It's a perfect unspoilt calm place, with sea, lochs and mountain views everywhere. The house is warm, clean and perfrct.

Beautiful views from the cottage, the cottage is very spacious and well equipped kitchen. Nice walk into Campbeltown. It’s a lovely quiet area. Some outdoor seating at the front to take in the views would’ve been great.

Fantastic cottage in a great location

Fantastic spacious cottage in a great location. Just a short walk to Campbeltown or Davaar Island. Great location from where to explore the islands. A short drive to Machrihanish beach, Southend and the Mull of Kintyre (with views to Ireland). We loved it and can only recommend.

Tolle Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung

Das Haus bietet viel Platz zum Verweilen und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Beim Frühstück können Vögel beim Fischefangen beobachten werden. Durch den kurzen Weg zur Insel Davaar kann der richtige Zeitpunkt der Ebbe abgepasst werden. Außerdem ist Campbeltown schnell zu erreichen.

Lovely home to explore Campbeltown

This is a spotless and comfortable home a few minutes drive from the center of Campbeltown. It has a great view of the water and is accessible to many beautiful sites along the coast. Gavin is a terrific host, very responsive, and provides a wealth of information about the area. The living area in the morning is well lit and very relaxing. While in Campbeltown do the Springbank Barley to Bottle tour, it’s superb.
