About this property
Lobster Pot in Padstow Is A 'fisherman's Style' Cottage With A Parking Space.
Lobster Pot Cottage is a 'fisherman's style' cottage with a parking space, situated right in the heart of Padstow and only 175 yards from the quayside.
It is built partly of Delabole slate, with huge oak beams, oak doors, and floors of oak and old flagstones and the property has been finished to a very high specification with a charming vaulted living area at first floor level.

AROUND THE LOCAL AREA. The historic town of Padstow has evolved around the busy harbour and quayside and is very picturesque with its narrow streets, littered with cafes, restaurants, interesting shops and tiny cottages. Much of the locally caught fish and seafood are sent to fish markets all over the country, but there is still plenty for the locals and the visitors, especially for the town's renowned seafood restaurants.
The town is surrounded by rugged cliffs, hidden coves and beautiful sandy beaches, such as Porthcothan, Constantine, Treyaron, Trevone, Harlyn, Daymer and Watergate bay. There is a ferry in the summer which takes visitors over to Rock on the other side of the estuary. There is plenty to keep visitors happy, whether it is walking along the coastal path, cycling the Camel trail, surfing, visiting National Trust houses and gardens or just wandering around the shops and watching the local fisherman attending to their daily chores.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your review.
Great location walking distance to everything. Everything we needed in the property for the weekend.
Nb. Pub garden opposite house which is a bit noisy.
Parking space is very tight, house is perfectly situated and a perfect spot to explore padstow. Lovely house, could do with some additional kitchen utensils but otherwise perfect.

Well managed holiday property in the centre of Padstow. Comfy beds, good shower and well equipped kitchen. The information provided was useful and comprehensive and the property was the perfect size for our young family. N
We were 2 couples staying for a long weekend. 2 went to Rick Steins seafood school for a day course, and 2 decided to take a 4 hour walk around the beautiful headlands. The flat is perfect for this type of relaxing reunion, well equipped and nicely decorated.
Super location. And free parking but only for relatively small cars.
This was much better than your average property. It was smaller than it looks on the website but it was comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped with utensils and dishwasher / washing machine etc. It was nicely decorated too with taste , and frlt like someones home rather than a holiday rental. I would stay here again. Only adverse comment is that the parking bay is small; I had an Audi A6 and it was a struggle to park.

Thank you for your favourable review. The parking area is a little tight but I'm very privileged to have a parking space in the centre of Padstow town.
Lobster Pot cottage was in a superb location to the town therefore easy walking distance to the centre and the enjoyment of the local Nadelik Lowen festival. Thank you
Well laid out cottage; upside down arrangements allowed us to get benefit of sunshine and use of terrace. Parking space a real bonus, although even more difficult to get into than we had been warned.
great location , property, kitchen , dining facilities excellent, outdoor space for a car and to eat was a real bonus especially in padstow. Essentials in the fridge and store cupboard much appreciated and Was great to get a text earlier than covid checkin of 5pm saying the property was ready.
Note to those wanting to work while there the wifi is not good, not sure if this is Padstow generally but its very hit and miss.
We have stayed at a few Holiday rental homes but this was the best yet! Very well equipped and clean. Items such as kitchen foil, paper towels, toilet paper, tea and coffee were on hand throughout our stay. The pub opposite was excellent and away from the madding crowd even though the Harbour centre is only 3 minutes away. Parking at the house is tight. We have a BMW1 series which only just fit lengthways! Glad we didn`t need to use it at all during our stay though. Ferries and buses are within easy reach, along with the local Spar shop which is only 100 metres away past Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth`s cafe`s.
Would love to stay again.
