Simpatia sem limites

Passamos 3 dias maravilhosos aqui por altura do meu aniversário. À chegada tínhamos uma tábua de queijos e enchidos à espera acompanhados por um vinho rosé da zona. O pequeno almoço no dia dos anos foi servido ao ar livre por baixo de uma figueira enorme mesmo em frente à casa onde ficamos. Fomos surpreendidos com a oferta de um bolo de aniversário e a piscina biológica estava sempre com a temperatura muito amena. Obrigado Diogo e Manuela pelo acolhimento.

Staying in paradise.

Staying at Monte do Ramalho, a magnificent herdade in the center of Alentejo, was like stepping back in time. For two days Casa Giësta was our home. The smallest of three attached cottages on top of a hill looking out over fields of olive trees silvery shining in the sun. A very cute, well equipped house nicely decorated with old-fashioned tools, fine bed and tastefully furnished in a romantic style. On our rental bikes we discovered the surroundings and visited small little towns. To cool down in the most beautiful swimming pool of natural water we have ever seen, near our cottage. Thanks to the hospitality of the property workers, Francisco, Maria and Massimo, we almost felt a member of that small agricultural community. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood or want to escape busy life, this Monte do Ramalho is all you need. Yolande & Jurriaan
