Can Collet is a private and well appointed Villa, built in traditional Mallorcan style with a lovely spacious garden complete with fig and lemon trees, private swimming pool and a large shady terrace ideal for alfresco dining. The Villa is situated 10 minutes drive from sandy beaches, and from Pollenca town, close enough to the amenities but in a peaceful and private setting with views over the mountains, spectacular as the sun sets. As the Villa is all on one level and the garden fully enclosed it is perfect for children or those with limited mobility.

Amazing Finca

Absolutely gorgeous place, you do need a car but other than that it was wonderful, everything and more provided, so relaxing and just perfect. Im very fussy btw!!

Lovely stay!

Great villa

Lovely area to visit and a well maintained (and equipped) villa. The villa had everything you needed to stay in or go out. Plenty of parking, albeit if you have a large vehicle be careful of the lane turning as it was very tight on our people carrier. All in all a great visit and well communicated by Sue.

Fantastic stay at this lovely villa

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. The pool was a bit hit and the villa had lots of lovely homely touches like games, books, inflatables, table tennis, plus loads of kitchen equipment. Truly a home from home feel. Would 100% recommend!

Wonderful attention to detail

Sue thinks of everything! The villa was so comfortable and the little touches everywhere showed such attention to detail.She and I liaised continuously and I was able to ask anything. The villa was beautiful and spotless. Very comfortable and gorgeous outside area and pool. Would love to go back!

Lovely, tranquil Finca - Recommended!

We had a lovely week in Sue's property. It is tastefully decorated and very well equipped (the weather was mixed when we were there and so we appreciated both the BBQ and the log burner!). We'd recommend it without hesitation!

Great villa in superb location

The villa is really lovely and definitely ticks all the boxes! Spacious, clean and well equipped. The outdoor space is huge and we all enjoyed the pool. Everything is close by-beaches, restaurants, supermarkets are all within close proximity. We stayed for a week in October 2017 and the weather was hot and sunny every day.

A Hidden Gem

The property is away from the hustle and bustle but only a few minutes drive from an amazing marina and the town. Great location for both couples and families. The villa is well appointed... you could have a holiday here and not go anywhere else!! Very spacious, smashing pool and space for a football match or 2. Local town is in easy reach and there are a number of shops for groceries etc nearby.

Lovely family holiday

We were so lucky to get away. Communication with Sue the owner was great from the start and we were lucky to meet her on arrival. The Finca has everything you could need and it was very comfortable. A home from home but in a lovely quiet location, with relaxing gardens and a great pool. Pollensa town is a short drive and has a great selection of restaurants. The beach is not far either if you can drag yourself away from the garden and pool. We loved it and have already booked our next stay.

Fab family holiday lounging by the pool

Sue's place is lovely, beautifully done out inside and out and very well equipped. The beds were all super comfy (I'm pretty fussy and have been known to buy mattress toppers mid holiday in less ideal accomodation!) which is a huge plus. We had a great week, the heat precluded us doing much more than lounging by the pool, but we made good use of the outdoor pizza oven and BBQ and had a great stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Peace and quiet in a lovely location

We had a wonderful stay at this modern and homely villa in a great location. Fast internet was handy for our two boys and also ideal for watching uk tv late at night in the lovely seating area with a glass of something. The table tennis, boules and badminton got the family playing and having fun together. The BBQ was great but the pizza oven was a special treat for an amateur cook! We would highly recommend finca can collet and would love to return.

Amazing Finca at great location

We stayed during our October vacation for 6 nights in this amazing Finca. We have three children between 4 and 9 years old. We had a wonderful time. The Finca was big enough for the whole family. The beds are comfortable. Two modern bathrooms. And a well-equipped kitchen. The estate is huge. Fantastic for small kids. The pool was nice and clean. We were lucky with the weather, even in October we could jump into the pool. In the near vicinity there are beautiful places and beaches. Port de Pollenca, Port de Alcudia or Cala Sant Vicenc can be reached by car within 15-20 minutes. Shops like Lidl and Eroski can be reached within 10 minutes. Make sure you book a "good" car. It should have a decent ground clearance and it shouldn't be too big/wide. The owner, Sue, is very kind. She communicated with us right after booking until the end of our vacation. She helped us with everything. Thank you, Sue! We can recommend this place to everyone.

A very well equipped and comfortable house

Finca Can Collet was one of the best houses we have rented, in many years experience. Very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out, very comfortable beds, lots of local information, especially about eateries and lots of games, books etc. Very importantly for us the wifi was excellent - better than home in Devon. The situation of the house was very quiet rural, but only minutes from Pollenca and maybe 10 minutes from Alcudia. We look forward to our next visit.

Perfect Finca - Great Family Holiday

This was our second stay and Finca Can Collet. We had a lovely holiday. It was pretty hot in Mallorca whilst we were there so had a quite a few lazy days by the pool. We had some great days out to the Drach Caves in the South East and rented a boat for a day in Port Pollensa which is 15 minutes away. Alcudia is a short drive which also has a lovely beach and a beautiful old town. I cannot recommend this villa enough. It was everything you need for a great holiday and lovely nearby restaurants. Sue is a great host and has made the Finca very comfortable and cozy. My son adored the pool and was very sad to leave.

Lovely property in idyllic location

We had spotted Finca Can Collet last year when we were staying in a villa close by and thought how lovely it looked. We were not disappointed. Sue has a truly lovely villa and offers everything you need - even pool towels and thoughtful touches like lovely Laura Ashely rugs and night lights - wonderful. The outside terrace is beautiful all day from sunrise to sunset. Can't wait to return next year. Thank you Sue.

perfect summer holiday

We stayed one week in the house with a nice big garden. The garden provided self-service for figs, lemons and apples, a well working BBQ grill and a pizza oven. We liked the house very much because it is well equipted from a coffee cup til adapters for various electronic tools. All in one, we would book the house right away again. Thank you Sue!

Nice finca with huge garden

Nice finca, well equipped with many useful things available and very clean. The information provided made the finding of the finca and the check-in process very easy. A/C was installed in all rooms fact that was very useful especially during the heat wave of 2022. Very convenient location with easy access to all places of interest. So far we visited Mallorca for 9 times and stayed at different villas but now we consider Finca Collet our favorite place when visiting Mallorca.

Another wonderful stay at Finca Can Collet

We stayed at Finca Can Collet last year and re-booked whilst still there. We have also re-booked for next year. Sue has a truly lovely villa and is so easy to communicate with and so accommodating. The outside terrace is beautiful all day from sunrise to sunset. My husband and I also used the bikes that Sue provides. We didn't travel far but a cycle round the area was a lovely way to end the day. It is wonderful that these are provided. A truly lovely villa in an idyllic location. Thank you Sue.

The Perfect Bolt Hole

When we booked Finca Can Collet we honestly thought it looked too good to be true. How wrong we were! It lived up to the images and description and if anything surpassed our expectations both in terms of the property and its location. Sue could not have been more helpful with the pre-arrival communications and the information on local facilities, points of interest and places to eat. The pool was a great place to cool off and the kids really enjoyed evening games of table tennis and boulles. All-in-all we had a great week's stay and would thoroughly recommend this property.

Relaxation guaranteed

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week in this excellent villa. It is well equipped and is set in quite large grounds and is in a quiet location. The only noises were the occasional dog barking and the bells on the sheep nearby, a noise which is quite therapeutic. However the location is a short drive from both Pollensa (with easily accessible supermarkets) and Puerto Pollensa. Some of our party were elderly and one had mobility problems but this flat one storey villa was perfect for them ... and hence us too! But it would also be great for children with the large safe grounds. We have stayed in many villas over the years and this is one of the best. We shall undoubtedly return. One final comment is that the owner, Sue, is easily contactable and helpful.

Our home from home and happy place

My husband and I went to Can Collet for our honeymoon. I had visited once before and was most impressed and thought it would be the perfect place to go. It was a wonderful experience and everything we were hoping for. We went very early in the season so it was lovely to cosy up indoors to the log fire and do some cooking and watch some films. ( The kitchen is beautifully laid out with everything that you need- very high quality John Lewis products etc) We also enjoyed exploring Mallorca, which is so beautiful with many places to visit. The property is so close to Pollenca town and Port which are both charming. We also loved Valldemossa and Formentor. This property offers the perfect mix of a wonderful retreat to just relax at but also some great places to visit. The owner clearly puts her heart and soul into the property- which really does feel like a home from home. We loved it and can't wait to go again and make some more happy memories.

Home from home

Great property, we loved the spacious house and garden. It really was a home from home, with everything you needed. The pool is not heated but don't worry about that - it's not cold, and just perfect for cooling off from the Majorcan sun. And quite deep, good for adults but you would need to be careful if you have small kids. As previous reviews have stated, lots of stuff is already here in terms of basic supplies (e.g. condiments, kitchen roll, foil etc); we replaced anything we finished, which is a good (but not manadtory!) arrangement. The bbq area is good, and we had lots of fun with the pizza oven. We even progressed to dessert pizzas on the second firing. The road up to the property is pretty narrow to turn into / out of - don't hire a big car unless you know what you're doing! We had a lovely time here.

I live in Warwickshire with my husband and we had always been interested in buying a home in the Spanish sunshine. After some deliberating and a number of visits to the island over the past 15 months , we bought Finca Can Collet in May 2013 from a Mallorcan family who used the finca as a place to entertain friends and family for BBQ's during the summer.

Why they chose this property

We bought a property in Mallorca because there were fond memories of the island as a child when I used to holiday here with my parents. We love the north of the island for the combination of sandy beaches and marinas, rugged coastline and the historic old towns of Pollenca and Alcudia.
Being by the sea, and because the island is so compact you are never far away from a beautiful coastline or beach. The island is easily accessible from all European destinations, with a very efficient airport.
The Mallorcan people are very friendly and welcoming especially to tourists which makes you feel more at home. English is widely spoken on the island so you can always make yourself understood, and there are many nationalities here which gives it a cosmopolitan and relaxed ambience.

What makes this property unique

The property is very convenient for the town and local shops as well as a choice of beaches within a few miles. The pool, garden and outside terrace are the best features of the property - there is enough space for all the family to relax and chill out. It is in a peaceful location with great views over the mountains. As you sit in the garden and the light changes so does the colour of the mountains - you can see Puig Santa Maria from the finca which is one of the peaks used by the British Olympic cycling team who train in the Tramuntana mountains. Watching the sun set over the Puig is a special moment worth savouring with a glass of wine!
