My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed Twyford and nearby Winchester the most during our holiday. The barn is also well positioned to a wonderful trail head. We traveled all over southern England from the barn. We highly recommend.
Simple and thoughtful accommodations, nice walks in all directions. We should have done a little more research and planning on the dates (Sunday afternoon- Tuesday morning didn’t give us many options for nearby meals), but that’s on us!
We enjoyed our stay in Twyford. It is a quaint and quiet settling. The surrounding area is full of historic places to visit. The apartment is very comfortable.

Why they chose this property
We bought our house together with our converted stables/coach house, as this is a stunning period property in a superb village location on the edge of the beautiful and historic City of Winchester. Mildmay House was formerly the Vicarage in Twyford and has stunning views of the Church and water meadows beyond.
What makes this property unique
The property is in a quiet location and a short stroll from the Village shop, post office and pubs, and there is very easy access to hustle and bustle of Winchester. Having a car is not necessary as bus and train are easy walking distance.
