Lodge With Private Garden In Country Village - Pets Welcome

The Lodge is a detached one bedroomed unit and it is available all year round for up to two adult guests. We are happy to accommodate a baby, with no charge for the 'extra guest'! We have a travel cot and high-chair for your use if required (subject to availability). The property has a large south-facing patio area overlooking a private garden for your exclusive use with seating for four. There is a barbecue and access to a shed for two bikes. We provide you with the 'essentials' for your arrival such as tea, coffee and sugar, hand soap, cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom, as well as washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets to start you off. There is a sofa bed in the lodge which can accommodate an extra guest .
The Royal Oak pub next door is excellent for food and also accepts dogs.
Abberley Lodge is excellently located to explore the forest and the coast .

What a hidden gem

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and well appointed lodge. It is a perfect base for exploring the area. Graham and Theresa were the best hosts, making us (and our 2 dogs) feel most welcome. Thoroughly recommended for anyone looking for a lovely, comfortable place to stay with a great pub/restaurant on your doorstep and in a location ideal for exploring the New Forest.

The Perfect Getaway

Clean, well-appointed luxury lodge in an idyllic location. The lodge had everything we needed and extras also provided including Prosecco and robes. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay as perfect as possible. We will be returning and we have already recommended the lodge to family!

The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they had many nice touches in the house. It was very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and they provided treats and toys. We would definitely stay here again.

The lodge and its garden were perfect for us and dogs, providing us with a calm an relaxing base for our stay.A beautiful, quiet location with lovely walks from the property. Teresa responded to our queries when booking very promptly and Graham was an excellent host during our stay, full of helpful knowledge about the area and many other things that we discussed.We'd love to come back as its the ideal base for our visits to see family in the Bournemouth area and give us a break at the same time.

Fabulous!

Exceeded all expectations. The property had everything you needed and a lot more. Lots of little extras, including a lovely welcome pack. The hosts greeted us when we arrived, explained how everything worked and gave us advice about the local area. We only spent three nights there but felt like it was Home. Highly recommend, and definitely hope to return!

Super short stay

The Lodge has a great walk across a heath approx 10 mins walk with a dog. There is the Royal Oak just next door if you fancy a drink and a bite to eat, the forest horses and donkeys are always visiting. The Lodge itself just right for 2 with a very secure garden for yiour dog, beautifully furnished and very clean. Graham and Teresa are wonderful people, very friendly, helpful and leave a lovely welcome pack. We spent 3 nights, this was our second stay and definitly will be back.

Perfect peaceful and relaxing

The poperty was very clean and stylish with lots of extra little touches added to make it feel special. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and even brought us an Anniversary gift which was very thoughtful. Lots of wildlife on the doorstep including the lovely New Forest ponies and deer in the field behind the cottage. We loved our stay.
