Cardiff / Vale of Glam. Beautifully appointed modern property in cottage style
This is a modern property with a traditional twist. Perfectly situated for easy access to the City centre and the M4 motorway. Exceptionally well presented, with excellent fixtures and fittings- a real home from home. Lovely private terrace where you can on a good day watch the wildlife. Ample parking for at least two cars right outside the front door. Electric gated entrance to driveway.
PLEASE NOTE. We request WEEKLY BOOKINGS in peak season (May/September) Saturday to Saturday unless agreed with us prior to booking, contact via Vrbo. The property is adjoining my property, however, it is very private. Towels only supplied to visitors flying in to the UK.

Lovely house with caring, friendly hosts in a nice quiet area. The house was clean and well equipped, the hosts were willing to help with any issues we had and the location wasn't hard to reach.
What a warm welcome you get from Wendy , the house is stunning with every thing you need and the view from the patio over the garden is stunning. Ideal location to visit the area with lots of suggestions from Wendy.
Thank you for making the stay perfect
We spent an idyllic week. The house is really very comfortable and quiet. It is very well located for visits. We were royally welcomed by Wendy with lots of information and adorable little gifts (fruit, wine, cakes...). We warmly recommend this cottage. Thanks again !
Wonderful hosts, thanks Wendy and Ian, the house was gorgeous, we had a lovely relaxing time, which is what we needed. We came to switch off and that’s what we did.. we had a fab time.. many thanks..
Without a doubt this house is a rare find. Location is perfect , close to the city yet quiet in a rural setting. The house itself holds all the luxury you can imagine and the owners are stars
A wonderful cottage, great place to unwind in peace and quiet, where visitors are perfectly looked after by their hosts Wendy and Ian. This is by far the best cottage we have stayed in, across the UK, well appointed, where nothing is any trouble. Thanks guys, we'll be back soon !
We had a delightful week at this beautiful property, It was comfortable and fully equipped. On arrival we were met by Wendy who was very welcoming and she allowed us early entry to the property which we much appreciated. The countryside around St Lythan's is very beautiful and convenient for all main tourist attractions in South Wales.
Fabulous property which was suitable for mom who is in a wheelchair. Kitchen fully equipped with excellent quality cookware. Great location as it is in the countryside but close to Cardiff centre and lots of other attractions.
We had the most amazing time in this amazing property. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The property itself is stunning, even better than the photos. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay
Amazing place to spend a relaxing week. Excellent accommodation, a home not a holiday let, one of the best you will ever find. Loads of facilities nearby, shops, tourist places, walks a great pub, short trip to Cardiff. Central for The Gower, Brecon etc. Superb location.
The hosts could not be more welcoming or friendly. Wendy and Ian were absolutely delightful.
We had a magnificent time in these lovely guest quarters: spacious, comfortable, immaculate, fully equipped – and with stunning views across the countryside. Our delightful hosts, Wendy and Ian, were always available to answer questions or provide information. The property is close to Cardiff and other areas of interest such as St. Fagan's National Museum of History. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals, but this one was among the very best!
Immaculately clean house and beautiful grounds, very helpful welcoming owner, great location if you have a car - within easy and quick reach to hiking places, open air museums, National Trust places, beaches, supermarkets... Our family especially enjoyed the birds singing in the garden every morning, the relaxing bath in the evenings, the lovely beds. It’s a shame the holiday was so short!
Wendy and Ian were fantastic to deal with. The place is absolutely stunning, set in a beautiful location… even in winter! The house has everything you need and more. They are very accommodating with our change of dates, and really couldn’t ask any more. I have already recommended this accomodation to friends.

Gorgeous cottage, lovely location
The owners are lovely and very welcoming and the cottage definitely has the wow factor. It is well equipped with everything we could possibly need and more!
We loved exploring the surrounding areas and having such a gorgeous cottage to come back to at the end of a busy day.
The location is ideal for travelling into Cardiff (20 minutes by car) with a local friendly pub and a restaurant within walking distance.
We were really sad to leave at the end of our holiday - hope to return soon.

Why they chose this property
Although this property is next to our home, it has total privacy. Access is via electric security gates. The surroundings are peaceful and private yet close to main roads with a local pub within a good walking distance. It’s a short journey to Cardiff City centre and many other attractions eg beaches, Cardiff Bay, Welsh Folk Museum, Dyffryn Gardens, and so much more all within less than ten miles.
What makes this property unique
Peaceful location and very close to the Cardiff City Centre with the convenience of being at most locations in very little travel time. Tinkinswood and St Lythans burial chambers closeby with St Lythans Church thought to date back to 13th Century 3 minute walk away. Dyffryn Gardens and house (National Trust) approx 3 mins by car.
