Fabulous cottage in an idyllic location. Dolores is a great host, very friendly and detailed communication. The cottage is in a great location for exploring Connemara, very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Good broadband so we could stay in touch with the family. Thoroughly recommended.
What a gorgeous little cottage in the most wonderful scenery! I had a great stay here, it is so peaceful and yet only a 20 minute drive to Letterfrack. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Dolores was so helpful and great to communicate with.
We had a beautiful stay at the cottage. It has such a cosy feeling to it, especially when you think about the impressive natural surroundings of the place. Dolores was a host, as one could wish for, helpful and kind.

The only word that comes close to capturing our stay is “magical”. The cottage is comfortably appointed with a traditional and authentic feel. We found everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The wood / peat burning fireplace gave an atmospheric and cozy touch. Location is great if you like to hike and explore. The views are jaw dropping. Recommend 100%
We spent our holidays for the second time in this picturesque place.
The cottage is very well equipped, the best we have ever been in Irland, and Dolores is a wonderful host.
We definitely will come back for a third time

About the host
Hosted by Dolores Staunton
Having lived all my life in Connemara, along with my husband we are delighted to be able to welcome guests from all over the world to enjoy our cottage and Connemara and to experience the uniqueness of this spectacular location. We live and work in the local area and are always on hand if guests need us for any reason during their stay. We are welcoming holiday makers to this cottage since 2004, and have made many friends during this time, and are very fortunate to have a long list of repeat customers.
Why they chose this property
This cottage is very well equipped and is always spotlessly clean. It is very well located for touring Connemara, easy access to Galway city, to Westport in County Mayo. Day trips can be taken to InisBofin Island and to the Aran Islands. Local attractions within 15 minute drive are Kylemore Abbey and The Connemara National Park.
What makes this property unique
The most unique feature of this cottage has to be its location. The view from the Kitchen window (where you can sit and eat) is ever-changing. No matter what the weather the view is always superb. The cottage is cosy and very well equipped and is always spotlessly clean for your arrival.
