Welcome to Porthcothan House, an enchanting Georgian farmhouse in a prime location on the north coast of Cornwall, mid-way between Watergate Bay and Padstow, overlooking Porthcothan Bay, 600m from the beach and a few minutes from the Coast Path, Trevose Golf Club and some of the finest beaches, gardens and restaurants in Cornwall. Lovingly restored and modernised the house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, spacious, light, full of character and has a wonderful atmosphere and views - perfect for a really special holiday at any time of year.
Relax in a blissful Savoir No2 Bed - the original 'Savoy Bed' - and absorb the view of the valley and coast as you ponder the big decisions of the day: do you surf at Constantine, walk some spectacular coastline, play golf or tennis at Trevose, have cream tea at Bedruthan Steps, a treat at Rick Stein’s, Number 6 or Nathan Outlaw's. Or do you simply stroll down for a peaceful day on Porthcothan Beach .. paddling in the sea .. and wiggling your toes in warm sand.

Faithfully restored and modernised over 6 years to its true wonder for all to celebrate, enjoy and remember on special family occasions. Guests often comment on the light, space and wonderful atmosphere of the house and feel instantly at home. Others love the views, walks, local beaches and waking to the sound of the sea. Others still do so much we wonder if they relax at all; yet they keep coming back - for what will be their 9th year!
