Quality in Tourism rated Gold Award.Our elegant 1 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment is situated within a converted Edwardian hotel set in one of the most spectacular location in South West Cornwall. The Headland is one of the most southerly points of England. Beautifully appointed above landscaped gardens and stunning panoramic sea views, the grounds also include a newly re-surfaced tennis court. A beautiful, sheltered beach is 2 minutes walk away and a further 10 minute stroll will be rewarded by the picturesque village of Coverack,a working fishing harbour almost untouched by time. The surrounding area is protected by the National Trust, with excellent local cliff walks along the coastal path. The Lizard peninsular offers a unique variety of landscape. The tranquillity of the creeks and woodlands along the Helford River contrast greatly with the rugged cliffs and seas that stretch from Coverack round the Lizard to Mullion and beyond.

Comfortable apartment with great views.

Comfortable, clean, fully equip apartment with fabulous views over the beach below and panoramic sea views. Whilst the 2nd floor location is hard on the knees after a day walking, the fact you don't need to close any blinds mean you get the stars and the sun rise whilst lying in bed! Coverack Paris Hotel/pub is just 10 mins away, uphill on the way back to burn off dinner or a couple of beers. Beware the f&c shop is not reliable which in turn puts pressure on the Pub for evening dinner so you will almost certainly need an alternative if you are relying on supper out as options are a little bit limited. The little coffee/cake/sandwich place was always busy and the village shop is ok for emergencies. This property is a great location to visit all the little villages towards Helford and the coast around the Lizard.

Perfect for a getaway

Lovely modern apartment overlooking the sea. Be aware you have a 2.5 mile drive to reach the Headland along 3 narrow lanes, with the occasional farm vehicle. Coverack is a pleasant walk away with a few eateries. The morning light into the apartment is very bright but fortunately we had eye shades so our sleep was not interrupted. A really nice stay to visit Falmouth and the Lizard area.

The Apartment was perfect, very clean and comfortable, beautiful views of the sea and very quiet. Easy walking distance into the village and coastal walks and even a sculpture park. Many villages, gardens and hikes within a short drive.

Superb Apartment with beautiful location.

Everything you need is provided. Harry was very attentive and gave us good information about the area. A truly beautiful location with outstanding views. Coverack is a hidden gem but please don't tell everyone.

The property is perfect, clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly positioned to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. The owner was very helpful, enthusiastic and keen that we make the most of our stay. A lovely welcoming touch leaving flowers, milk and biscuits for us when we arrived. Highly recommended.

Superb location

We loved the flat, it’s beautifully furnished, cosy but with everything you need. The location is stunning, we watched dolphins from our window on the first morning and you can walk out straight onto the coast path with superb vistas in either direction. Coverack is an easy walk with a very good little shop and cafés, try the courgette and lime cake at the Harbour Lights if you can. Highly recommended, we hope to be back.

Fantastic

Lovely, lovely apartment, sea views from every room what more could you ask for. Clean and comfortable with all you could need. Coverack is a lovely little village. If you like walking there are plenty of walks or if you just want to go on a beach there are plenty of easy access ones nearby. The beach at the apartments is a very nice beach but if your not good at going down steep paths and then having to come back up again don't try it.. Overall we have had a great relaxing week away from the rat race.

A fantastic break from our busy life

Everything in the flat is clean, fresh and comfortable! There are amazing views from the windows. This place is such a find if you want to get away from it all and recharge your batteries. So restful and peaceful.

A Perfect Hideaway . . .Excellent Views

My husband and I stayed here in May. The apartment was perfect for a quiet get away, beautifully decorated and clean with amazing sea views. The apartment has just been refurbished to a very high standard with a luxury feel. This is an excellent location for walks along the coast and headland or even to sit in the gardens and gaze at the sea. The owners communications were very good and thorough. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

I fell in love with Coverack and varied landscape of Cornwall as a child and continue to holiday there. I stayed at the Headland when it was a Hotel. It became special part of my life and will continue to do so.

Why they chose this property

It can be your special hideaway from the rigors of daily life. A warm bolt hole during the dramatic stormy winters of crashing seas and wind swept coastline, or a bright and fresh base from which to enjoy the beautiful sheltered beaches and stunning panoramic coastline during the warmth of summer. The history of the local area, the soft beauty of the Helford river or simply the rugged coastline and gardens that surround the original hotel have always made for peace and tranquillity.

What makes this property unique

The wonderful thing about the location of the Headland is that you have everything on your doorstep but are never troubled by tourists. The panoramic views from the from the flat are simply breathtaking. The gardens below are private for the occupants of the hotel,the sheltered beach is a 2 minute walk away and although not strictly private, it is not publicised and so remains free of beach tourists from Coverack itself, a little hidden jewel. The village is a beautiful 10 minute walk away along a costal path. Car journeys to other attractions in a 10 mile radius are no longer than 20 minutes maximum and there are some wonderful places to explore. You may want to simply stay in the Headland bubble and not get in a car at all.
