We have, for the second year in a row, had a wonderful stay with friends at John and Lesley's house. The place is very peaceful, ideal for holidays with friends with children. The house is extremely well equipped and secure and it is a real pleasure to be able to take advantage of the pizza oven and the jacuzzi in addition to the swimming pool. A nice house
We stayed in this with our friends and our children, the house is perfectly suited to families with young children, too far from the big attractions (gouffres de Padirac and Rocamadour, Lascaux) but there are a lot of small visits to do with the children nearby. The owners are extremely kind and responsive, a very good stay in this charming place. (Jerome, aout 2022)

Great group stay

Beautiful house for a family holiday
Lovely house with an amazing pool. We stayed here as a group of 7 adults and 2 children and had ample space. John and Lesley had had a challenging time with significant damage from a hail storm which they were working hard to fix, but were excellent and helpful owners. We had a great time here, the only things to be aware of are that morning trips to the bakery require a trip to Riberac (about 10 mins drive), and the pizza oven/sauna/hot tub are shared between this house and the adjoining holiday house. We’d love to come back again and explore the area for more than a week. (Jolyon, 7/22)

Large house perfectly equipped, very pleasant terrace with convivial barbecue, the swimming pool is really well secured, the land is well suited for children (sandpit, swings) and for older children (ping-pong, pizza oven. ..) In short, it was perfect! (Fanny, 8/21).

We had an excellent stay in the house perfectly equipped for a large family. The calm is absolute and the swimming pool is ideal for for sunny days. Lovely house for a great holiday
We stayed at this lovely house with our three grown up children and five grandchildren for a week. It has everything you need for a great holiday. Plenty of equipment to make life easy for a self catering holiday.The pool was perfect just the right size for a swim or to play in. What a Truly Wonderful Place to stay
Having a large family, we found the perfect place to stay at John and Lesley's. We had plenty of room for all the children and adults alike! The pool was fabulously inviting and warm and always kept clean. Holiday in "La Vallée"
We spent a very enjoyable week at La Vallée. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The heated pool with lights allows you to swim or relax during the day or evening (Try it at nightfall;-)). You can also enjoy the jacuzzi, very relaxing after a long day walking and the sauna's good too. The place is very quiet and allows you to recharge your batteries, all in a beautiful area. La Vallée -
A holiday home perfect in every way: quiet without being too isolated, very well equipped & decorated. The pool is large, properly secured, very clean. The spa is also ideal for watching shooting stars in August! If at the time of booking, the jacuzzi had seemed a little "trivial", it was very much appreciated, especially in the evening. Family holiday
We spent our holiday at La Vallée in August , with the whole family , 7 adults and 5 children (aged 11 years to 17 years) and our father, who celebrated his birthday (89 years) during our stay. It was a fantastic, idyllic location, with far-reaching views of the beautiful countryside , yet only a short drive to the town of Riberac and many interesting places . Our hosts, John and Lesley , were fabulous , always there if you needed them , but never intrusive. The house is beautiful with all the equipment you could need , gorgeous and extremely comfortable bedrooms. With the excellent weather we had , we ate most of our meals outside , with large table and very large barbeque . La Vallée has a lovely private swimming pool in a beautiful garden , and the wonderful jacuzzi. It was perfect, a beautiful area of France . Well recommended. (Margaret & family, Somerset, UK)

Our impressions of La Vallée
Very nice well maintained place for large families, very beautiful and large secure swimming pool, we were 14 to dive enthusiastically into the pool and we never had the feeling of being cramped. Great home, great hospitality, immediate availability of the owners in case of problems or questions yet on the other hand, the owners were never intrusive, only coming to the house at our request. Large space for playing football, volleyball ... highly recommended! (Funny, Belgium)

Relaxing stay with friends
The house has every comfort you could wish for : well equipped, good beds... The house is very big, full of quirky corners. Sadly the weather wasn't up to much during our short stay in May, but that meant we could take advantage of the sauna (approximately for 7 people), spa (5 people) – both at the top of the list – as well as the table tennis and some pool-time. All in all an ideal opportunity to relax in the peace and quiet in a nice region. The main plus point of this house is without doubt the kindness and availability of the owners who were always ready to take care of small details to make our stay enjoyable. (Thomas R. Paris, France)
