Large log House with beautiful views of Greek Peak ski resort. Located 5 miles from Cortland, 15 miles from Ithaca, 35 miles from Syracuse. Finger Lakes wine trails and many State Parks are within easy driving distance. House is located on 5 1/2 acres of land. Large deck and patio area in front provide views of the mountain. During winter skiing shuttle bus service to the resort is available from the House.

It was a great location on a couple minutes from Greek Peak Resort where we went on the zip line, mountain coaster, and UTV's. We had a blast. We ate at Treks which was at the resort as well. The place was only 13 minutes ti Cortland. It was spacious so the kids could play and the adults could relax.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while in the area for my son’s graduation. We really enjoyed our evenings playing in the game room together.It is directly across from Greek Peak Ski Resort which was neat. We had beautiful views of the mountain. It is also about a 10 -15 minute drive into town where you can find stores and restaurants. I recommend a Greek place called Kalash Restaurant. The food and service were top notch!I recommend this place to families with kids of all ages.

This was a great space for our large group. Big kitchen, plenty of beds, and good spaces for people to hang out (deck, pool table, fire pit area, etc). My only cons involved the checkout process. We had to vacuum the entire house and wash and dry all the bedding and towels we used. It was nearly impossible to do--to get all the bedding for a large group through the washer and dryer by the time we needed to leave. We stayed here a 2nd time and brought all our own top sheets/blankets just to make it doable. We have just never stayed anywhere that had this requirement. It seemed over the top to get it all done.Also the hosts did not leave any paper towels, extra garbage bags, or extra toilet paper (there was one roll in each bathroom and that was it). Thus also seemed strange that they wouldn't provide for that with a house that accommodates such a big group..Overall this was a great space and I would stay here again. Just plan for the checkout.

Thank you for your feedback. Our guests are not expected to do a full cleaning. We ask that all dirt, mud, food gets removed from floors, counter tops, etc. we provide three large garbage bags in garage trash cans. We have a cleaning service that does final cleaning. Thank you for taking good care. Many places require bring your own linens or renting them. We give the option to bring your own. We give flexibility on departing time. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Beautiful home! We celebrated Thanksgiving in this house, the enormous kitchen made preparing and cooking the meal so enjoyable. First floor game room was perfect for the kids to disappear to. Everything we needed, this property had! We will be back!

Good for groups or large families

This house was a nice place for us to stay while visiting the area for a baseball tournament in Cortland. The boys loved the pool table and ping pong in the basement and we had plenty of room to spread out.

Great house for a large group

The stay was great, just know that the bunks are doubles top and bottom not singles so count accordingly. Communication was fast and very to the point that worked well for us. I would definitely rent this home again in the future.

Great place for family reunion!

We had a family reunion here and several of us travelled from out of state. We all slept comfortably and it was great to have different areas of the house to hang out such as ping pong and pool downstairs. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill and we had plenty of nice places to hang out with multiple ages! We also enjoyed nearby attractions. Scott was really helpful, responsive, and flexible and we would definitely stay here again!

Baseball Tourney Fun

Excellent house with amazing views. Don’t think it’s right to charge a cleaning fee and the VRBO fees when we are required to do all of the cleaning as well as wash and fold the sheets.Otherwise would 100% use this location and property again of we were to come back.

We have no control over the VRBO fees. They set them. Our fee is very low compared to many places. It covers hot tub cleaning/treatment, grill cleaning, fireplace cleaning, trash costs($4/bag)), cleaning supplies, final cleaning($30/hr), etc. Guests are not expected to spend their time cleaning, but to be respectful of the house. Lastly, many places require linens to be rented or brought. We are always happy to see people enjoy their stay as you did.

Beautiful mountain view

We came with our family to attend a wedding at the lodge. The house was in the perfect location to visit the area wineries and breweries. Some of the kids went to Watkins Glen. All in all, a perfect house. The game room is awesome!

July weekend

We had a great time. Just be prepared if a large group laundry will take way longer then expected for check out. We had a great time sitting outside with a fire and talking! Its a beautiful home and recommend it to others! Thank you so much!

Long weekend at Greek Peak

Hot tub was awesome. Pool table, ping pong and juke box were a big hit. 15 of us stayed so it was difficult trying to get all sheets and towels washed and dried before we left. Views are amazing and it is very close to the water park. Overall we had a very good weekend but paid more than the nightly rate that was listed on the website.

Definitely worth it

Very nice rental with great views and everyondle had a good time. The kitchen needs a bit more over-head lighting, as the under-cabinet lights didn't quite get the job done in conjunction with the minimal over-head stained glass lights. Otherwise, top marks all around.

House was built in 2005. The Finger Lakes region is one of the most attractive areas in NY State. Lakes, skiing, golfing, dining, wine tours, etc make this area an ideal year round location to visit.
