Casa Bruno is re-modernised 1500's Tuscan, Town House's, situated 10 minutes above, the historical spa town of Bagni Di Lucca.

If your looking for a great place to stay that is real Tuscany, away from the crowds and still unspoilt, but where you can still walk to the shops and is reachable from Pisa Airport, in little over an hour; then we Casa Bruno is ideal for those on a budget.

Its an ideal base to discover the joys of Tuscany being in the Tuscan Triangle (Pisa ,Lucca & Firenze)

Casa Bruno is 75 minutes from Pisa & Florence Airport & 35 minutes from Lucca,the provincial capital.

The beauty of their location provides the opportunity for total tourism all year round; with the Tuscan Rivera an hour by car & the ski slopes of Abetone are 35 minutes away. Ideal for walkers and those looking for mountain adventure, you can walk from 100 metres above sea level to nearly 1,300 metres above sea. Mountain biking, road cycling and moto cross, are all popular sports in the area as well. La Lima river also provides a great back drop for white water rafting and fishing.

After your exercise why not visit the roman spa,10 minutes away in Bagni di Lucca.Everything from an excellent steam to the famous mud treatments.

Looking for great food? You won't be disappointed, with everything from family run trattoria's with a great lunch menu to michelin graded restaurants, for that special occasion.

Casa Bruno is our budget property with heating. It has 2 double bedrooms and a bunk bedroom, with access via one of the double bedroom and thus ideal for families), kitchen & bathroom It also has a fruit and vegetable garden together with another field/garden over the Lima valley.


There is simply too much to do in the area and one visit or week is never enough. From cooking courses at the villa, to walking and water rafting to sampling the local wine and olive oil, you can fill your days quickly. Leave keys inbetween the front door and sun blind
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Access to the washing machine/Laundry cellar has at an additional charge of £5.00 a day. We charge no cleaning fee. However we ask only that:
1)All towels linen removed and deposited in down stairs bathroom. 2)Kitchen floor to be swept 3)Put All rubbish in recycle bins in the car park.
4)Dishwasher to be emptied. If the above are not carried ask we reserve the right to minus £50 pounds sterling from the damage deposit. Thanks

Great stay

Communication could not be faulted. The apartment is as described but this fitted our needs perfectly as we had friends staying in the villa next door. Ron was great with questions. Would stay again if in the area.

Het huisje was fijn ! Jammer genoeg was de buurman zijn huis nog in aanbouw dus dat gaf een beetje het gevoel om op een bouwplaats te verblijven. Alles was wel aanwezig in het huisje, we moesten het alleen wel eerst even schoonmaken.

Super séjour, les indications complètes avec photos nous ont permis de trouver très facilement "Casa Bruno". The Villa Rosa Tuscany Team, nous a très bien reçu, la maison était très propre et accueillante. Nous avons apprécié le village et ses fêtes ainsi que les différents points aux alentours de du village et dans la proximité. The Villa Rosa Tuscany Team, nous a toujours bien orienté et même transmis ces meilleurs adresses même un garage pour la voiture (cas de crevaison). Nous conseillons ce petit endroit qui saura répondre à votre besoin d'immersion en Toscane. TI & RI & famille

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir sind begeistert! Wunderschön gelegenenes, sauberes, geräumiges und schön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit superschöner Aussicht. Ein kleiner Laden mit allen Dingen des täglichen Gebrauchs, eine Metzgerei und eine Pizzeria sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Zudem gibt es auch Supermärkte im nächsten Ort Bagni di Lucca. Die Vermieter haben sich rührend gekümmert wenn Fragen oder sonst etwas war. Außerdem hat man hier eine gute Mischung aus Ruhe und der Möglichkeit, schöne Ausflüge bspsweise nach Lucca (eine wunderschöne Stadt!), Pisa, Florenz oder auch ans Meer zu machen. Kurzum: sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt.

Fantastic break. Fantastic place. Fantastic price.

I have had 2 stays in Tuscany this spring. With only 4 of us traveling this time, we looked & found this newly refurbished hamlet town house, above the spa town of Bagni di Lucca. Booking was easy, with quick email replies and payment confirmation, all within 4 hours. I know this area quite well now. The beauty of the spring, had already began to work its magic, as the trees and flowers were bursting into bloom. We are avid walkers and took advantage of the perfect weather every day, to explore the mountain area. Casa Bruno was exactly what we needed and perfectly put together. With a modern kitchen, 2 large comfortable bedrooms and nicely decorated bathroom. Very cleanly designed and with great views. They have a bunk bedroom that can sleep a further 2 but that was not needed by us. There is even a gated garden area, where we had our afternoon coffee and cakes whilst admiring the beautiful view. We were able to park right outside the house and we could be up at the village bar/restaurant,food shop or butchers, in less than a 10 minute walk. One thing I have noticed is the mired of smaller properties,(up to 3 bedrooms) that have sprung up in the area. Some of them look no better than a barn with a kitchen and bathroom, that has not changed in over 50 year! Secondly email communication is mostly very slow and haphazard from these owners. We were still getting email replies AFTER we had returned home! That most certainly was not the case with Casa Bruno, who’s owners provided a very quick service and delightful property for us to stay in. All in all a fantastic break at a fantastic place at a fantastic price. Grazie Casa Bruno. See you again in the autumn! Mark

Why they chose this property

It is easier to explain why we did not go for a property in Bagni di Lucca itself. Before we re-modernised Casa Bruno we looked at investing in Bagni. It didn't offer what we thought was a true Tuscan Village/hamlet experience, that we new our future guests would prefer. Plus the views at the bottom of our valley are quite limited and constrained.So therefore our choice of location and property were ideal because it was close to Bagni but offered so much more in terms of relaxation, enjoyment and amazing upper valleys views. Also by basing ourselves 10 minutes driving up the valley, we gain the cooling effect of our Prato Fiorito, mountain breezes. Come and find out for yourselves.

What makes this property unique

Casa Bruno has the best of both words for those that want the house in the country side but also know its perfectly placed to take advantage of amenities of a village shop and grocery store only 8 minutes walk away.You are also well placed to drive to supermarkets and hypermarkets from 10 to 25 minutes away.It has space for large family groups and is also perfectly suited for the single writer or producer looking for that piece and quite to think things through.The villa is open all year round and with central heating throughout the property you will feel warm and snug throughout the winter months. Here they will experience the total piece and relaxation, of the beautiful Northern Tuscany countryside, that is the Lima Valley.
