Our 1000 square foot home was remodeled in 2014. It is a gated single story home with three bedrooms that includes 3 full size and 2 twin beds, two baths that will comfortably sleeps 6+. The distinctive beauty and charm of this manufactured home sets it apart from the rest. If the dates you’re looking for are booked please contact me as other properties are available.
Are you thinking of fishing 2 weekends in a row or pre-fishing a weekend before tournament, but don’t want to tow your boat back home? Arrangements can be made to store your boat at our adjacent lot with 24hr parking lot video surveillance.
The home also has an attached carport that is perfect for parking your boat in the shade and retying your lures; relax and tell the story of that one that got away or enjoy your favorite beverage while watching the sunrise or sunset while having a cookout. A Basic Trailer with Basic Beds
We did not have a very positive stay at this VRBO. This is obviously (from the pictures) a single wide trailer. 2 Bedrooms in the rental, 1 at each end, with an additional adjacent bedroom added on as an enclosed exterior room with a wall unit for A/C. The property rules state “do not” lower the A/C below 74 degrees so the A/C is not adequate for the heat of the day in Zapata at 100+. Cleanliness: The residence needs a good top to bottom cleaning, the dust collection on the fan blades made me not want to turn them on for fear of a dust shower. The advertisement states internet, in the fine print at the bottom of the description, it states “coming soon”. There is no internet. The neighbors in the adjacent red house were playing music on Saturday night until 4:30am. There was scratching in the wall from some sort of rodent, there were cockroaches found each morning dead in the bath room. Overall, this was not a positive experience and we will not be staying here again.

Our Family loves to have fun and get away from the city when work allows! We work and live in the fast paced world. We enjoy the outdoors; especially fishing and our favorite get-away and memories all include lake time.

Why they chose this property

Since our favorite past time is Fishing, we spent a great deal of time looking for the perfect lake and house. Having Fished the lake for over 23yrs and knowing that Falcon Lake is the best bass fishing lake in Texas, we knew Falcon Lake is where we wanted to be! The lake is such a peaceful and serene lake without all the hustle of jet skis, wake boards, etc. This lake is a great place to get away to fish, relax, and make great memories.

What makes this property unique

We consider our rentals our homes and have devoted a great deal of time to making it have the comforts and to be a relaxing perfect get away on Falcon Lake in Zapata Texas! Although, the house in only a 5 minutes away from the county boat ramp. We also offer a private boat ramp that guarantees you’ll be on the water in no time.
Are you thinking of fishing to weekends in a row or pre-fishing a weekend before tournament, but don’t want to tow your boat back? With the rental of our home for 2 weekends back to back, Arrangements can be made to store your boat as we offer 24hr parking lot video surveillance.
