About this property

Three double bedroomed apartament, fully furnished, accommodates up to 6 people. Excellent location in Copacabana Beach POSTO 6.
It is located Two and a half blocks from Copacabana Beach and 4 blocks and half from Ipanema Beach. It is Less than 10 minutes walk from the metro station General Osorio.
Like most buildings in Rio this one was built in the 70s. The interior decor and style are in keeping with this time. If you want a tranquil, homely place with beautiful wooden floors and furniture, then you will enjoy it. If you want a super modern space, then this flat is not for you.
It is on First Floor, 130m2. All three bedrooms have double beds, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. One of the bedrooms is ensuite. There is a second bathroom. Bed linen and towels provided, but not beach towels.
Quiet location, close to all amenities, including supermarkets, shops, banks, restaurants, transport. There is a washing machine and dishwasher.

Strictly NO SMOKING in the flat.

Check-in and check-out schedule can be made more flexible depending on the availability. If nobody is coming in right after you or checking out right before you, then efforts can be made to arrange early check in and/or late check-out, depending on the cleaning service schedule availability. Nevertheless, officially, the check in time is at 1pm and the check-out time is at 1pm.
Electric voltage is 110V. It's a good idea to bring an adapter plug depending on where you come from. Not because of the voltage but the electrical plugs are often different in each country.

The building area is in a lovely, quiet location. The street is very green with lots of trees. Nearby attractions include Copacabana Fort, Arpoardor Beach, Ipanema Beach , Copacabana Beach.

Buses to many touristic places and taxis are frequently and easy to catch next to the apartment and General Osorio metro station is less than 10 minutes away walking.

I won't be present at the time of your stay, but Fabio will meet you when you arrive to give you keys, show the apartment and will be contactable should any problems arise. He will collect the keys and check the flat on departure day.

Rio for Revillon

My brother, my best friend, and I stayed at Joir's apartment while in Rio to bring in the new year. I have been to Rio many times, and I always like to stay in the Arpoador area. The apartment is spacious, well appointed, and clean. It was exactly as Joir had described it and was the perfect place for 3 guys who are past the party stage for whom having a great place to come home to is as important as being outside. Would definitely stay again!

The best place in Rio.

The apartment was as advertised. The owner went above and beyond to make this place feel like home. Every amenity was there. No need to go shopping for anything. I will stay here again. Great security and location. 2 minutes to shops and food market.

Perfect location!

This apartment is in a great location: a quiet neighborhood 3 blocks from Copacabana beach and a short walk to Impanema, with grocery stores, restaurants and shops nearby. It is a tastefully appointed older flat that was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The owner was very welcoming and helpful via email leading up to our visit. He arranged for an English speaker to greet us and be available if needed during our stay. I highly recommend this rental.
