Other nice towns and villages (Viana do Castelo, Braga, Arcos de Valdevez, Ponte da Barca, etc.) can be reached in 30 minutes or less by the excellent road network.

For day trips, the gîte is 30 km from the entrance to Peneda-Gerês National Park and 18 km from the Corno de Bico protected landscape. It is also 35 / 40km from the coast, where you have several blue flag beaches. The connection is mainly by highway.
