About this property

Fully modernised Tenby harbourside apartment. Perfect for beach and town alike

This delightful apartment is in a great location- in the old town of Tenby directly above the picturesque harbour, within a minute’s walk of Harbour and Castle beaches and town centre.

Kemendine is a grade two listed building; George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans) wrote her first novel in this very building. The building appears in many of the pictures and postcards of Tenby Harbour.

It is on the Ironman run route and close to Carten end zone, great for participants and spectators alike.

It is extremely convenient for beach based holidays, local attractions and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path walking. Tenby town has a great choice of shops, restaurants and pubs.

The basement flat is located in the pink town house alongside Florentino's restaurant near the entrance to the harbour.

To access the flat, coming down the stairs you will see a key safe on the wall to the left of the light. We will text or email the code

The apartment is on the lower ground floor with a private entrance, down a short flight of steps. It has gas central heating, a modern well equipped kitchen and bathroom (shower over bath), a small private yard to rear.

Quiet at night, ideal for young families and couples with gas central heating.

It sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, (double bed and large single bunk beds) with an option to use the large double sofa bed to sleep 6.

The property is less than ten minutes’ walk from multi-storey car park (£4 per day) and has an access permit allowing vehicle access the property to off load during Summertime Pedestrianisation of the Old Town.

Dog friendly and a handy park across the road.

Free Wi-Fi, internet, TV's in living room and both bedrooms, DVD players, family games, bath towels and bed linen, hairdryer, dishwasher, electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, washer dryer, iron and board.

Lovely dog friendly flat

Great location and well furnished flat. Hosts gave all info needed in advance and also left a bottle of fizz which was a welcome touch. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely little base for exploring the town and beyond

The apartment was really well decorated etc. The whole place was clean and tidy with a modern theme. Being on the lower floor had a great advantage of being out of the hustle and bustle, yet being right in the middle of it :). Beaches, restaurants, cafes and shops were all within strolling distance. We had to park the car away from the apartment due to the area being pedestrianised but again, it was a short walk and super easy to use the multistorey near sainsburys. We'd love to stay again the next opportunity we can.

Family New Years break

From check in to checking out we had a really welcoming and relaxing experience. Audrey and Graham allowed us to not only check in an hour early but gave us the option to have a lie in on New years day when we should have been out by 10am. We really appreciated this after a late New Years eve! The apartment itself was in a perfect location right in front of North Beach. Perfect for morning strolls with the dog and a spot on location for ease of access to the lovely Harbwr Tenby brewery and the quaint little gift shops. It was perfectly spacious, clean and comfortable and had all the mod cons we needed. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay there again!

Location was fabulous. Apartment had everything we needed aswell as some useful extras like the beach items, dvds and games. Plenty of takeaways close by and food shops which was great. Tenby is super dog friendly and the apartment was perfect for our little pooch as the lounge stayed cool even on the hot days l. We had a teething problem on arival with check in but Audrey got straight back to us on the phone after we left a message and everything was sorted quickly and professionally and the bottle of prossecco left was greatly appreciated! 1st time booking with vrbo and would definatly use again. Would recommend the apartment to any couple or small family wanting to be in the heart of the town without it being noisy and at a really reasonable price! If i had one suggestion it would just be to provide a fan in the property as we stayed on a very warm week and as the childrens room is windowless and compact it would have made it abit more comfortable. Many thanks for a great 1st time in Tenby. We would definitely return!

All the rooms were well equipped, clean and of good size. It was a very comfortable stay in the heart of Tenby with easy access to all 3 beaches and restaurants.The only small downside was kids upstairs jumping up and down and that transmitted into the living room so times, but hey it wasn't all the time.I'd still go again. Top tip, get up early and get the sunrise from the bandstand.... It's spectacular!!

Fantastic Flat

Wonderful flat in a great locationWe've stayed here several times and really enjoy it—it's a lovely flat in a fantastic spot. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that noise from the upstairs apartment can sometimes be an issue at night, depending on who is staying there. That said, it's not always a problem and hasn't stopped us from coming back!
