2 bed apartment in historic Soho house central London
This beautiful 2-bed flat in a historic early 18th century house is comfortable and bright with a new kitchen, 300-year old wood panelling and original floors. It is located in Soho in the beating heart of London's thriving theatre, shopping and restaurant-district. Major museums, art galleries, parks, Buckingham Palace, the South Bank, dozens of theatres, cinemas, and all the shopping attractions of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Covent Garden are within fifteen easy walking minutes of the front door. There is excellent local public transport including the new Elizabeth Line which runs direct to Heathrow airport. The flat is on the third floor of a historic (circa 1700') Queen Anne house in Soho. It is refurbished to a high standard and has original early 18th century panelling in all the rooms. Note that there is no lift. Free Wifi is available via the flat's dedicated broadband service. The spacious living room contains a large sofa, a 32'' flat screen TV, and a dining area with chairs and table sitting 4. The kitchen is modern with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, double-height fridge freezer, electric oven and gas hob. The two bedrooms are airy and bright and each contains a double bed (one is slightly smaller than a standard double bed). NB : The bathroom containing a bath and WC is very compact. There is a brand new shower concealed behind the panelling in the larger of the bedrooms.
The flat is furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture and has polished original wooden floors with oriental and modern rugs.
Soho is a lively area in the evening but our street is relatively quiet as is the flat. Staying here, visitors can enjoy luxurious accommodation while experiencing the "village" that is the very centre of this vibrant city. Note that we are not able to accept late check in after 9pm

Water turns ice cold every few minutes in shower . Four flights of steps plus another when you go to the bathroom . Probably fine for twenty year old kids but not for adults .
Very central location to everything, couldn’t ask for a better place. It has everything you need, and given this building is almost 300 years old, it has character too! Host was easily contactable and flexible. Highly recommend!
Jane is lovely. Place is rich with character; clean and location is A. Internet okay, not great. But overall as long as stairs don’t bother, a great place.
Property was ideally located in the center of everything, yet still managed to be quiet. We are just sleep, shower and go folks, but suited our purposes just fine. Host was responsive and met our every request.
Great location with lot of different options for eating. Easy to get around. Host was very friendly and communicative. She let us check in early and even helped us with our suitcases. It was also very clean.
Fantastic stay. Location is unbeatable with loads of restaurants, shops and shows within easy walking distance. Jan was lovely to communicate with, the flat was very clean and just as pictured. Highly reccomend!
Right in the heart of it all! Awesome location! Had all we needed as a family to prepare breakfast, do our laundry and sleep comfortably. Charming historic home with a thoughtful and helpful owner.
Great location in the heart of Soho, very close to several fantastic restaurants. We heard that two we visited are the hottest in the city right now! The whole family could not have been nicer. They were very accommodating hosts and gave us great local recommendations.
The property owners were very helpful! We were able to check in when needed. They gave a lot of really good recommendations. The location of the property is excellent close to everything!
Lovely third floor apartment located very near the underground, lots of restaurants, and grocery stores. Easy to use as a home base for travel around London. Hosts live in the ground floor flat and are responsive and kind.

My wife, sister-in-law and I spent 11 nights here. It is in a fabulous location surrounded by hundreds of restaurants, three nearby subway stops, theatres and shops. The host is very nice and easy to contact on WhatsApp. However, the unit has several challenges and shortcomings. The bathroom is in the garret under the eaves that is ten steep steps from the floor of the apartment. It worked for us but would be a challenge for young children, someone with handicaps or is tall. There is no room for bedside tables to put a reading light or and iPhone. Online pictures of the apartment are factual but it is minimally furnished with no reading lamps, luggage racks, TV instructions, clocks, etc. Be sure to ask the host to explain the operation of the well-appointed kitchen appliances, heating system, and egress in case of fire. Unfortunately, we were in London on the hottest days on record (95F). The kitchen south facing window had no shade so the apartment became very warm. The large windows could not be opened so it was very warm at night. The host lives downstairs and provided three fans that were very helpful to mitigate the heat and street noise. We had a wonderful time on our vacation in spite of these inconveniences.
Amazing location! We really enjoyed our week in this flat. Built in the early 18th century, it is full of charm, but also has all the modern conveniences required by today’s traveler. It is spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. You just can’t beat this location. It’s just a few minutes walk to the tube, restaurants of every variety are everywhere and we had very nice walks to all of the theaters. Despite its prime location, we found it to be very quiet. The host, Jane, met us at the property and left us with a lovely history of the property, neighborhood and an extensive list of restaurants and interesting places. I would not hesitate to stay here again as our visit was superb.
We stayed 5 nights in this wonderful apartment. Jane and William were fantastic hosts - the apartment is clean, quiet, central and very charming. My husband and I were travelling with my mom (83) and we all loved it and hope to return.
Great time in a place with character! Need to walk up 4 levels to get to cozy place with character and comfortable beds. Just can’t beat being in the middle of Soho buzz, would stay again because so fun and convenient.
Everything was as pictured excellent location close proximity to theatres and restaurants.. as others of mentioned noise is an issue but Jane supplied ear plugs, also universal adapter. Unlike other VRBO hot water was plentiful.our only issue was the keys need a more efficient key/lock. Jane was very efficient and respond to all our messages almost instantly
We had a great stay. Absolutely terrific location in Soho. Tons of restaurants/pubs within a block or two radius, major West End shows and attractions (British Museum, Covent Garden, etc) within a few minutes' walk. Apartment itself is lovely and well-appointed. Jane is a wonderful host, very attentive and helpful.
Very central location and great hosts- communication was great. Note that there are quite a few steps to get to the flat (did not bother us at all) and street noise can be noticeable if you are a light sleeper.
We had a great time!
