We offer personalized attention such as referrals for local fitness activities, surf and bike rentals, and concierge partners who offer discounts.
Lia is a certified personal trainer and fitness/nutrition blogger. She is happy to provide information on running routes, local races, yoga studios, fitness facilities, health food stores, farmers markets, and answer other related questions. Upon request, we have available for your use fitness balls, bands, and yoga mats.
THE BUILDING - MARINE SURF WAIKIKI:
The Marine Surf is a small 22 story building with a friendly group of full-time residents and vacationers. Many vacationers are repeat clients who have come back for 30 plus years. It is a secure building that requires an FOB for elevator access to floors. A Building Manager, front desk, and night-shift security guards are available for emergencies.
Washers and dryers are located on each floor and operated using an ESD money card that the guest is responsible for loading.
A small pool is located on the 4th floor. Crackin' Kitchen Seafood Restaurant is located at lobby level.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Many shops and amenities are available within steps of the Marine Surf as we are in the center of Waikiki. Starbucks is across the street along with Jamba Juice, Ross Dress for Less. Macy's is around the corner, along with Lululemon, H&M, Nordstrom Rack and luxury shops. Running paths, bike paths, parks with fitness stations are all accessible within steps. Grocery stores are located within walking distance; however, note that prices are much higher within Waikiki area.
HOUSE RULES:
Once you book with us, we will provide a list of House Rules, which we ask each guest to read and agree to before arriving. Also, guests must register at the front desk. We will make arrangements for registration on your behalf; however, you must stop by the desk to finalize registration.
