Charming 5* Two Bedroom Hidden Cottage with Wood Fired Hot Tub near beaches

Y Boncyn is an award winning, charming, and detached two bedroom, two bathroom cottage with eco friendly wood fired hot tub in a secluded location.. The cottage is hidden among private woodlands just minutes away from Black Rock Sands and lovely Criccieth. With only a herd of curious sheep for neighbours, we promise the perfect get away from it all holiday. The living room with oak underfloor heating and wood burning stove has full height beamed ceilings and French Windows onto the gardens. The well equipped kitchen has everything that you could possibly need. Bedroom one with king size bed has a en-suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, sink and loo. Windows look across the gardens. There is a downstairs loo. Upstairs, under the eaves, is bedroom two with singles that zip together to make a king and en-suite bathroom with bath (with shower over), sink and loo.

To the front of the cottage is a large, walled and lawned garden with eco friendly wood fired hot tub and parking area. This is a beautiful cottage where colours are serene, fabrics are fresh and paintings and furniture (old and new) add to both its character and style. We offer superfast wifi.

The spacious lawned gardens to the front of the cottage are a delight and change with the seasons. Stone walls surround the whole area making it safe for children. This is paradise for bird watchers and lovers of nature with the only sound being from the occasional tractor making its way up the lane.

A delightful and relaxing break
Probably the best cottage we've stayed in (and we've stayed in quite a few!) in a beautiful corner of Wales. We were made very welcome by Viv, who also provided us with a delicious meal on our first evening - venison casserole, highly recommended!

Fantastic cottage
Beautiful cottage in a great location. It is exactly as per the photos, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and you even get a welcome pack. The housekeeper was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We cannot wait to come back so we can do more walking and mountain biking. We have had a super holiday .

This cottage is a real gem!
Absolutely fabulous. Nice remote location and still only a few minutes away from all you need. Perfectly furnished with lots of charming details. Superb housekeeping, everything was absolutely clean and very well prepared (thank you for the hamper!) . All that is needed for a start is there (toilet paper, washing powder, dishwasher taps, soap etc). Good bed linen, fluffy towels and even beach towels. The kitchen is very well equipped. The Internet was even faster than at home. BBQ incl coal are ready to go. The green in front of the house is perfect for breakfast and dinner. But you are not alone. There are 4 white and 4 black sheep gazing into your windows. Sometimes a herd of cows/bulls passes by. Also bads are cursing over the property. The perfect place to relax and unwind. There is one minor glitch : if the weather is really hot the bed room in the upper floor is to hot to sleep in. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful, Idyllic, Charming retreat, set in gorgeous North Wales
The cottage is off the beaten track but still close enough to Portmadog for all amenities. The cottage has been decorated to the highest of standards and the underfloor heating was a treat - My dog spent many an evening on her back with all fours in the air - quite content. The towels and duvets were amazing, we felt completely relaxed and calm, just what we all needed. The walks around the area are beautiful. It really is a perfect location for many sites in North Wales. We loved it so much that we are returning next year.
