Homeboat Glamping Loft on the water

Description
Come and spend an exceptional night on the water! This Homeboat is ideally situated in a rural setting and at the Westhoek Marina in Nieuwpoort. It is the perfect accommodation for a couple or a family.

The boat is fully equipped and very bright. The interior is 46 m2 and the terrace has a surface area of 30 m2. Relax on the ground floor terrace or on the roof terrace for sunbathing.

The Homeboat has a spacious living room, you can relax in the design chairs and enjoy the electric fire with a panoramic view of the outside.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, Senseo coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker and all other utensils you may need during your holiday. The living room is not (yet) equipped with a television, but there is an audio system.

The homeboat has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed (160x200) and the second bedroom has a bunk bed (85x200cm), which can accommodate 2 persons (children or adults). Bed linen is provided. The Homeboat has air conditioning and heating.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer and electric towel dryer.

With location in Marina Westhoek you can access all services of the port, bistro with barbecue place , possibilities to rent bicycles, kayaks, motor boat cruises with skippers, electric golf cars. Nieuwpoort Bad, Veurne and Westkerke are direct neighbor cities in a circle of around 10 km. The region Westhoek is a very interesting touristic area with a lot of facilities. Free parking in the port, 1 km from center of Nieuwpoort, 5 km from North see coast, 20 km to Oostende and 40 km to Brugge.

Stunning location and home

We had a fantastic weekend here with our two sons aged 23 & 18. The houseboat is really good fun and the boys spent ages frolicking in the river. The property is immaculately clean and everything you might need is to hand. The interaction with Anna, the property owner was efficient and pleasant. The location is perfect with beautiful sandy beaches within a 5 minute drive but also situated perfectly for visits to Brugges, Ypres or De Panne. I'd thoroughly recommend the houseboat and hope to return.

Anniversary stay

This was our 2nd to last stop on a 10 day holiday celebrating 10 years & what a place to do it in. Peaceful beautiful surroundings with water fowl all around. Fantastic sunrises & sunsets. Definitely worth a visit.

Prachtige setting

Hele mooie en prachtige locatie voor een weekendje ontstressen. Alles was perfect in orde! Tip: gordijntjes in de slaapkamer misschien veranderen naar verduisterende gordijntjes. Voor de rest alles piccobello in orde!

Hausboot zum Relaxen

Sehr schönes, modernes Hausboot mit guter Küchenausstattung. Der Wohnraum und die Terrassen haben einen herrlichen Ausblick- man kommt so richtig zur Ruhe. Wir waren fast nur mit den Rädern unterwegs und waren begeistert von den Radwegen in Belgien. Und der belgische Sandstrand ist toll, genauso wie die Pommes:) !

Ein Traum

Sofort ab der Ankunft fühlt man sich entstresst, die ruhige Lage am Kanal ist so idyllisch, ist sofort Urlaub pur. Es gibt aber viel zu entdecken, die vorbeifahrendenen Boote, Kayaks, Enten , nicht zu reden von den herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen/aufgängen. Mit Hund fühlt man sich sehr willkommen, und bei Anfragen steht die Besitzerin immer zur Verfügung, einfach nur TOP, und wir werden wiederkommen.

Ruhige, erholsame Lage in einem Kanal

Ruhige, erholsame Lage in einem Kanal. Das Hausboot liegt in einem kleinen Hafen, wo Boote anlegen. Trotzdem ist es dort sehr ruhig, weil es ein kleiner Hafen ist. Wer gern am Wasser ist, wird das zu schätzen wissen, dass dort auch etwas passiert, es aber meistens sehr ruhig ist. Das Boot liegt am Ende des Steges, von daher hat man freien Blick in die Landschaft. Das Hausboot ist sehr sauber. Unten hat man durch die hohen Fenster das Gefühl, direkt im Wasser zu stehen! Oben ist eine kleine Dachterrasse mit Liegen und einem kleinen Sonnenschirm! Enten und Blesshühner waren unsere täglichen Gäste 😍 Der Kontakt und die Abwicklung mit den Gastgebern war astrein. Uns hat der Urlaub sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage, das Wasser, die Ausstattung und das Ambiente des Hausbootes machen evtl. fehlenden Stauraum ohne Frage wett. Danke für die schönen Tage!

Tout le monde a été ravi, la surprise était a la hauteur pour mon fils, la vue du salon est splendide, le must de la chaine hifi, trop top la cheminee electrique. Merci pour la machine a expresso et le cadeau de bienvenue. Le seul bemol, il n y a pas de plats qui va au four. Nous avons l intention de revenir au mois de mai afin de voir le soleil couchant car il a plu pendant les 2 jours.Franchement a recommander car c est vraiment atypique et depaysant.

Relaxing and comfy

We spent a 3 days week-end with two kids on the home boat and we really enjoy our stay. All you need is there and you'll be charmed by the stunning view in the morning. Anna is a great host and she'll we be available if necessary.

Urlaub zum Erholen

Das Hausboot überraschte mit der super Lage und der modernen Einrichtung. Die Begrüßung erfolgte vom Vermieter persönlich, was nicht immer der Fall ist und es kam gleich ein positives Verhältnis zustande. Man fühlte sich willkommen. Die Ausstattung war außerordentlich, sogar Gewürze, Kaffeepads und Begrüßungsbier waren vorhanden. Einer der Mangelpunkte ist die unbequeme Couch, sie ist nicht für längeren "Aufenthalt" geeignet. Wenn man sich abends so richtig ausruhen möchte bietet sie nicht den erwünschten Comfort, da hinlegen nicht geht. Sehr schade, man will ja nicht gleich ins Bett gehen. Der zweite Punkt ist der mangelhafte Stauraum. Für 4 Personen ist überhaupt kein Platz für Kleidung, nur eine kleine Garderobe ist vorhanden und für 2 Personen muss man die Stapelbetten als Ablage benutzen. Deshalb: sehr geeignet für 2 Personen die am Abend nicht auf der Couch kuscheln wollen. Ein super Pluspunkt ist die Dachterrasse, von der man die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge sehen kann und das bei vollkommener Stille. Dieses bei einem Glas Wein, ein super Erlebnis. Als Fazit kann ich nur sagen: trotz der Mängel war es ein klasse Aufenthalt, immer wieder gerne.

Nette Alternative zu einem Appartement - aber lieber nur zu Zweit

das homeboat liegt in einem kleinen Hafen ausserhalb von Nieuwpoort - nicht besonders spektakulär. Die Ausstattung ist prima, leider kommt durch das relativ unbequeme Bett / Matratze und das nicht wirklich schöne Bettzeug kein wirklicher Wohlfühleffekt auf - die Qualität lässt Wünsche offen ..., ebenso die Handtücher - kein Hotel, sondern wie es auch in der Beschreibung heisst "Glamping". Wir waren nur zu zweit da und das war auch gut so, wir hätten sonst nicht gewusst, wohin mit unserem Gepäck, so haben wir es einfach auf dem Etagenbett ausgebreitet, so wurde das schöne Ambiente des Bootes nicht gestört. Wir hatten gute 5 Tage

Es war schön. Das Hausboot ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet! Einen Stern weniger gibt es nur weil die Betten sehr beengt und ungemütlich waren! Ansonsten alles TOP in Ordnung! Gerne mal im Sommer wieder! :)
