Charming fully equipped appartment on the beach

Located just a few meters from the seashore, the house offers a splendid view over the strait of Messina and the Calabrian coast to the east and the Ionian sea to the south. Spacious livingroom with fireplace and large terrace with seating, loungers and barbecue. Free wifi, TV, AC, fully equipped kitchenette . Laundry room. Small book collection at the disposal of guests with literature in several languages. Bed linen, towels for bathroom and kitchen as well as beach towels are included. Access to the beach through the house. All shopping facilities within a few minutes walk (food stores, bank, post office, pharmacy, tobacconist, liquor store etc.) Ample opportunity for training activities in the area: diving center, windsurfing center, wellness center, yoga studio, attractive jogging along the coastal road and around the lakes in nearby Ganzirri. Large choice of restaurants and nightclubs. We are available for contact after the wishes of the renter.

Onne of thee best places I ever stayed

Terrazza Sullo Stretto is everything it promises. What was most important for me apart from that was its easy location with regard to Messina (just take No 1 bus across the road, every 10-15 mins) while this is clearly just a local area that is quiet and beautiful when you make a little effort to get away from the main through road--and even this can be done on foot. Host Francesca is super helpful and friendly. I stayed here for one month for work purposes and felt I was in paradise.

Paradise in Sicilia

It's a house full of love and history. A beautifully decorated and furnished apartment on the second floor in a family home with a kind and gracious hostess. She waited on the street for us while we fumbled around trying to find her and still smiled and embraced us like we were old friends or family. It could not have been any better. We didn't want to leave. When we come back on the next trip, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Magical Location!

Francesca is a wonderful host. She lives on the rooftop of the building and is always available via WhatsApp. The apartment is located 10 km northeast of Messina city centre in the suburb St. Agata at the beach. It includes a small bedroom with balcony (a bit noisy because of the traffic on the street), bathroom and a spacious combined living and dining room with integrated kitchen. Everything is well equipped and maintained. The most exciting feature is the large terrace (ca. 40 m2) with wooden furniture and a breathtaking view on the strait of Messina where one can watch the many boats and ships entering or leaving this magical spot. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance. We greatly enjoyed our two weeks stay (august / September 2019) and can warmly recommend the place.

Great Appartment

We had a awesome Expirience there. We were greeted very lovely and she explained everything well to us. Her Englisch skills are very good. Unfortunatly the warm water wasn't working but she did EVERYTHING to make it work and after two days it worked again, wich was very great. She gave us a refund for the two days which was absolutely nice if her. Now let's get to the Appartement itself.The Balcony is obviously the highlight of the apartment and it didn't disappoint us for sure. The decoration fits perfectly together. The kitchen is good, you have everything you need. A Smart TV would have been great to acces Youtube f.E. but that wasn't soo tremendous. The area is great too there. There is a lovely little Fast food restaurant directly across the street. It's called "Pitoneria Portella Sant’Agata" it has great traditional food from Sicily and is also supriseingly cheap. Torre farro with the pylon is a highlight too there and definitely a worth visit. You can ask her kindly and she can recommend u plenty of great spots around the area and on Sicily too, (f.E the Etna or "Gole dell'Alcantara - Ingresso comunale" (type that in on google maps and dont go to the touristy thing becuse it's a waste of money and bring some water shoes and swimming trunks with you for a great Experience). Overall we had a great Experience there and we are looking forward to go back there in the future for sure.

Ostern in Messina

Das Appartement hält, was es verspricht: Der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft und die Zimmer sind stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Dass es im Badezimmer keinen Duschvorhang gibt, das ist das einzige kleine Minus. Francesca ist eine fürsorgliche und herzliche Gastgeberin. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
