Azenha de São Mamede - Tranquility in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park

The Azenha de São Mamede is the result of the recovery of a water mill located in the Natural Park of the Serra de São Mamede. It is intended to accommodate those who want tranquility and communion with Nature. In addition to several places of interest nearby (Portalegre, Marvão, Castelo de Vide, ..) is the ideal space to start hiking and enjoy peace and quiet throughout the property. If you wish to take advantage of your stay, you can make some of the routes proposed in the information provided in the accommodation.
The property allows the isolation since it is not next to other dwellings; around the property there are other houses that are 200m, 350m and 550m away from the Azenha de São Mamede. The accesses are good; from the paved road to the Azenha there is a dirt track with about 200m.
During summer, apart from the pleasure you can enjoy by being by a stream, a removable swimming pool of about 4mX2mx1,20m is installed.

Todo en su conjunto es extraordinario, desde los propietarios, super amables, la casa, no se le puede pedir más, tiene todo lo que necesitas y el entorno, adorable. No se le puede poner ningún pero. Hemos pasado unas vacaciones inolvidables. Hemos disfrutado!!! Gracias

Casa perfecta en medio de la sierra. La comunicación con José siempre ha sido rápida y amable. Oasis en medio de la naturaleza y a 30 minutos de pueblos encantadores. Sitio para repetir.

The best I've ever rented

This place was incredible from every perspective. First of all Jose and his wife were generous, kind and thoughtful from booking right to meeting us (late at night) at the house and showing us around. The wine, beer and cookies were a lovely extra touch. The house was perfection. Cozy, comfortable, modern renovation but maintained all of its old charm. Beds we're comfortable, and a clothes rack provided for each of us. We felt like we were waking up in paradise every morning.

Un petit paradis

Amoureux de la nature et d'authenticité, allez séjourner à Azenha Sao Mamede. La maison est très bien aménagé et rénové tout en conservant son typique. Le cadre est encore mieux que sur les photos. A découvrir ! Merci José et Clara et vos parents pour l'accueil et l'attention portés lors de notre séjour !
