About this property
Welcome to Ruzafa Oasis
We’d like you to feel at home, so we have taken care of the details and thought a lot about how you can enjoy your stay to the fullest.
In the fridge, you will find a fresh bottle of Valencian wine. The terrace is the ideal place to enjoy it, where you can also plan your stay. It is the wine that we have enjoyed in my family for more than 30 years. you will not find it in shops, but you will find other equally good ones.
Do not forget it, you are on holiday, so just squeeze it and enjoy it!
You will appreciate that the apartment is brand new. It has been created with the utmost care and a lot of work, therefore you will observe exclusive decoration details that go beyond the standard ones. Please take care of it as if it were your home or even better.
You will notice that this is a very family-friendly building. The neighbours are quiet and educated people. Please respect the maximum coexistence and rest of all. I’d like to remind you that no events are allowed.
If you observe some details that you think you would improve or have any suggestions to make, we would be grateful if you could leave us a note or send us an email to the following address: (EMAIL HIDDEN) This will help us to improve. Valencia is a fantastic city, full of possibilities for the tourist and the Ruzafa neighbourhood is one of the best in the city because of its location and leisure facilities. In addition, it is a fashionable neighbourhood, something like the Valencian Soho. It is very well connected with the rest of the city. You can walk to most places of interest and very close, on Calle Cuba, you will find several bicycle rental businesses where different guided tours are also offered.
We will help you with what you need.
Do not miss a visit to the municipal market!
The choice of restaurants in the city is enormous, but be careful when you choose them because in many of the restaurants either the quality or price may not be adequate.
Here’s my recommendation of quality restaurants in Ruzafa neighbourhood and nearby:
Vermúdez, C / Sueca 16. Good tapas, excellent product and fair price.
Black Turtle, C/ Sueca 51, quality burgers and good atmosphere.
Copenhagen C / Literato Azorín, 8 and Malmo C / Sueca, 46. These are two very nice vegetarian restaurants. Good cuisine at reasonable price.
El Guiño, Gran Via Marqués del Túria, 12. Products of pork, good national and foreign wines and excellent cuisine with high quality products and very reasonable prices.
La Majada, C / Felix Pizcueta, 15. It's a cheese bar with the best cheeses in Valencia and more than competitive prices.
Bodegas Biosca, C / Doctor Serrano, 20, where you can buy wines with a varied selection at a competitive price.
You have a home-made food business to take away in C / Denia corner with C / Cadiz which is called Arrozarse.
For a beer, I recommend El Berlín, C / Cadiz 22, Bar Biosca or El Ubik also in the neighbourhood.
Outside the neighbourhood I recommend some essential visits in the city and I also recommend some places where you can eat with certain guarantees, like Mercado Central. Strolling through its products stands is a luxury. It is one of the best in Spain. Right next door there is a bar called El Trocito del Medio C / Vidal de Blanes, 1, where you can eat what you have bought in the market. For a very reasonable price they will prepare it for you there.
City of Arts and Sciences and the River.
Barrio del Carmen, has many restaurants, historic buildings and very cool streets to stroll and get lost. I would recommend the rice restaurant Canela, C / Quart, 49. Keep in mind that Valencia is the city of rice, but it is not easy to find a place where they cook it well. The Valencians eat their rice at home and if we have it outside we choose the place with care.
Barrio del Cabanyal, is the seafaring district of the city. It has a great market and, in its vicinity, a very typical and highly recommended winery bar called La Peseta C / Crist del Grau, 16 and another emblematic one called La Pascuala C / Doctor Lluch, 299 and C / Eugenia Viñes, 78.
Area of Puerto and la Malvarrosa neighbourhood. It is the beach of the city and there is a huge offer of restaurants and leisure. My recommendation is La Marítima restaurant, in Veles e Vents building, which hosted the America’s Cup in its Valencian edition.
There are other neighbourhoods in Valencia that are also worthy of mention. The neighbourhood of Campanar and that of Benimaclet, for example. If you have plenty of time you can take a ride there.
Valencia is a perfect city to walk around, so do not leave any corner to visit. To recover from the travelling fatigue, you have the fantastic and quiet terrace at home.
You have both the train and the metro nearby, bus stops, valenbisi, etc ... although it is so central that to know the city you are two steps from the center of the city.
You will find metro and bus stations very nearby.
