Durgerdam and Waterland:
The relaxed atmosphere in the picturesque harbor village of Durgerdam quickly reminds the visitor of all the worries of the day. The village consists almost entirely of a long row of picturesque - most wooden houses on a narrow road on the old Zuiderzeedijk and has a protected village view since 1976. Durgerdam is located northeast of Amsterdam and is - like other old villages in this area known as Waterland - a part of the City of Amsterdam.
