Beautiful Quiet and Sunny Penthouse Apartment is perfect for families or groups who want a relaxing and quiet holiday in a village setting. The apartment is situated on a small complex in a quiet village surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. The large private balcony offers views across the valley and also a distant sea view. There are several supermarkets within 10 minutes drive and there are 2 Tavernas and a take away in the village. The Tavernas are very reasonably priced and offer both local and international cuisine. A short walk through the village will take you to the foothills of the village and for the more energetic you can follow the footpaths up to the top of the hills to enjoy the breathtaking views. The nearest beach is just a 7 minute drive away and the nearby cosmopolitan town of Larnaca is just 10 minutes drive, a perfect combination! Just 5 minutes drive away is the newly opened Olympic standard shooting range in Klavdia, (hosts to the European Championship Shotgun event which is run by the European Shooting Confederation).

Holiday stay in Alethriko

The apartment was exactly as described. We arrived early morning and we were allowed in on time as pre agreed. You definitely need a car to enjoy your stay. There are buses, but within a long walk and not very frequent. I agree that the road was busy and noisy in the morning and late evenings. The pool was not cleaned until 7 days into our holiday, so we couldn’t use this. There are nice beaches not far from the apartment.

Wohnung auf dem Land

Die Wohnung ist groß und sehr schön eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Sie hat die bestausgerüstete Küche, die wir je hatten. Die Betten waren gut. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Wohnkomplex, was leider im Inserat nicht ersichtlich war und ist sehr hellhörig. Man hört die Nachbarn, die Funktionsgeräusche und den Straßenverkehr, der morgens stärker war als erwartet. Gegenüber befindet sich ein Kindergarten. Leider konnten wir kein Fernsehen (WM) gucken, obwohl nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen die Fernbedienung ausgetauscht wurde, da keine Sender programmiert waren. Wir fanden nur afrikanische Sender und gaben auf. Als Ausgangslage für unsere Unternehmungen war die Lage gut.

schöne Gegend mit einer super Wohnung

Auf den Bildern denkt man, man ist irgendwo im nirgendwo. Aber vor dem Haus führt eine Straße entlang und man ist wirklich mit dem Auto ganz fix in Larnaca (max. 15 Min.). Die Wohnung ist wirklich super und sehr gut ausgestattet...vorallem die Küche. Dafür ein sehr großes Lob. Sogar Adapter für die deutschen elektronischen Geräte sind vorhanden. Leider haben wir eine Kältefront erwischt, somit war es im WC bzw. der Dusche sehr kalt, weil es da keine Heizung gibt. Aber da die warmen Tage auf Zypern überwiegen, gibt es da wohl nur bedingt ein Problem. Ansonsten können wir (2 EW und 2 Kinder 8+11Jahre) die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank für den netten Kontakt und machen Sie weiter so, Maria!

This beautiful apartment is situated near the hillside village of Alethriko, just off the main Larnaca to Limassol highway and only 10 minutes away from Larnaca's centre and 5 minutes Drive to the Beach.
