Originally built in the 18th century as a great stone barn, La Saga has been imaginatively converted into a large three-storey house with a secluded courtyard with swimming pool and sun terrace.
The lower terrace has a shaded area with a dining table. By the pool is a built-in gas plant which is great for entertaining outdoors in the daytime and evenings. At night, the pool and courtyard can be lit up.
Inside the house the rooms are bright and modern with traditional stone floors and exposed wooden beams. Electrical central heating and three wood-burning stoves make the house a good option for a winter break.
The living/dining room is a large split level space. The living area has dark brown leather sofas surrounding a wood burning stove. This area is also features a 47" flat screen HD TV, a blue-ray DVD player and a high quality sound system which can play CD's, iPods and radio. The living room windows look out to the courtyard and pool. In the dining area, an old oak dining table comfortably seats ten.
The kitchen is rustic in style, but has all modern facilities and is well equipped for anyone who loves to cook. There is a large American fridge/freezer, a six hob range cooker, a dishwasher, and plenty of high quality crockery, glassware and serving pieces. An outdoor laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
La Saga has six bedrooms, attractively decorated with exposed wooden beams and electric fans for the warmer evenings. Two of the bedrooms have super-king sized double beds, one with en-suite bathroom, three of the bedrooms have king sized double beds, and one has a pair of twin beds. Two of the bedrooms overlook the pool, one overlooks a courtyard and one looks over the Provençal rooftops.
