GROUND APARTMENT is a beautiful apartment of about 50m2, recently renovated and composed of 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and living room-kitchen divided into dining area with dining table and fully equipped foldaway kitchen, 1 bathroom with tub .
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the Villa, slightly below the parking level. It has no view.
The guests of the GROUND APARTMENT can take advantage of large outdoor spaces and shared services (all free): terrace with sea view and dining table, private parking, swimming pool (open from 17 May to 18 October), solarium, play area for children , large garden and vegetable garden where local products are grown, barbecue (on request).

The GROUND APARTMENT has a very elegant and refined environment, embellished with fine furniture, and artistic objects of great value. It is perfect for 2 people (with the possibility of adding a cot) and has all kinds of comforts: flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi Internet, shared laundry, drying rack, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, cot (on request ), air conditioning (on request, for a fee).

GROUND APARTMENT is located about 390m above sea level, in a privileged position, on the hill between the magnificent gulfs of Naples and Salerno. Our Villa faces the "Li Galli" islets, home of the unforgettable Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev.
By staying in this cozy and beautiful house, you will be in a strategic position for excursions to nearby Sorrento (8km - about 20 minutes by car), Capri (boarding 7 km), Pompeii and Herculaneum (35km), Positano (15km), Amalfi ( 30km), Naples (60km), Vesuvius (50km), Pestum (61km), and the villages of Massa Lubrense (7 km).
The house is about 10m from the main square of the Torca village, where there are grocery stores, tobacconist's, bus stop, restaurant; and about 1.1 km from the center of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, where you will find all kinds of shops, supermarkets, numerous bars and restaurants, bank, bus stop leading to Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi.

The owners live in the same structure, so at any time you can have help in managing the apartment or advice on how to reach the most interesting destinations in our region.

Services NOT included in the price (to be paid at arrival in cash):
1) Tourist Tax of € 2 per person per night (excl. Minor of 18 y. Or, max of 5 days, from 01 April to 31 October).
2) Final cleaning: € 35.00 per apartment
3) Air condition is available (just if you need it, € 5 per day)

Please note: The apartments in the property can be rented separately. In this case the pool and the garden will be shared.

Things to do
HIKING
For trekking lovers this apartment is the ideal starting point; in fact, hundreds of paths unravel over its vast and wild territory, offering unique views far from the noise of city life. A few km away is the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area - a site of valuable value, rich in history and archeology, famous for its scenic beauty.
A few steps from the house begins the descent to a small beach, called Fiordo di Crapolla, reachable only by sea or through a long pedestrian path characterized by hundreds of steps (about 600). According to a legend, the apostle Peter landed here on his difficult journey to Rome. A small church is dedicated to him, venerated by the fishermen of the ancient village, and built on the remains of the temple of Apollo. Paths such as the Path of the Gods, the WWF oasis "Le Tore" or the Monte di Torca oasis - are much loved by our guests.

SEA
For sea lovers, the apartment, once again, is an excellent starting point. At about 7 km there is Marina del Cantone, lively and suggestive seaside resort, Marina della Lobra, an ancient seaside village, Cala di Puolo, glamorous and exclusive and then coves and coves of uncomfortable access, but with a unique charm, such as the Crapolla Fjord , the Bagni delle Regina Giovanna, La Conca Azzurra, Baia di Mitigliano, Le Fontane di Marciano and Baia di Jeranto, in the middle of a protected marine area.

It will be possible to organize excursions to Naples (60 km), Sorrento (7km), Massa Lubrense (6km), Positano (15km), Amalfi (30km), Ravello (31), Salerno (61km), Castellamare di Stabia (23km), Vico Equense (17km). Furthermore, if you are fond of archeology, you can reach the famous excavations of Pompeii (35km), Herculaneum and Paestum (70km). We can help you rent a boat and explore the clear waters of our sea.

GASTRONOMY
The origins and successes of Santagatese gastronomy and hospitality date back to the early 1900s thanks above all to two great admirers of good living and good food: the Neapolitan poet Salvatore Di Giacomo and the English writer George Norman Douglas, who with his Siren Land made Capri, Sorrento and Sant'Agata famous all over the world.
In our days in the surroundings of the apartment you can find many restaurants and trattorias (often family-run), which will help you discover the ancient flavors of traditional Neapolitan cuisine. Furthermore, a few kilometers away there are famous and starred restaurants, named in international gastronomic magazines and guides, such as Don Alfonso (in Sant’Agata) and Quattro passi (in Nerano).
