About this property

Casa Ubriezo is the largest of the five self catering casas that are available from casa-ubriezo and shares a pool with the four other casas that are only available via casa-ubriezo. The casa comfortably accommodates up to six adults. Casa Ubriezo is detached and located at the very front of the village. Casa Ubriezo commands uninterrupted views of the valley and beyond. Casa Ubriezo has 4 double bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living/dining/kitchen area leading to a private barbecue patio area complete with outside dinning table, chairs and umbrella. Casa Ubriezo is entered on the ground floor comprising of an open plan living/dining/kitchen and a barbecue patio area which is accessed via a large sliding glass door leading from the lounge. Also located on this floor is a double bedroom with a king sized bed and built in wardrobe. Next to the bedroom is a bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The first floor contains a bedroom with a double bed and built in wardrobes, also two bedrooms with single beds and built in wardrobes. The second bathroom is also on this floor and contains a shower, wash basin and toilet. Please choose the "Ask Owner a Question" option to request more information.

Casa Ubriezo contains a washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave oven, ceramic hob, electric oven, log fire, central heating, dining table for 6 places and a small digital TV. All Bed linen and towels are provided but we recommend that guests bring their own beach/pool towels.

The house has private Wi-Fi and is fast Fibre optic.

All enquiries will be replied to in English by Phil. He is a friend of the Blanco family and over the past 10 years has voluntarily helped the family to arrange reservations for their English speaking Guests. It is important to note that Phil is not employed by the Blanco Family in any capacity and only arranges the reservations via Email. There is no charge to the customer or the Blanco family, ensuring that the customer pays the normal minimum price.

Hosted by Juan Luis Blanco

The family Blanco own the 5 holiday casas that are available from casa-ubriezo and have managed their successful business since the early 1990s. They are respected members of the Rural Tourism Association of Cantabria. The family have lived and worked the land around the village of Ubriezo for generations. Purita manages the five properties, with help from her husband Galo. They also own and maintain much of the land around Ubriezo whilst tending their sheep, goats and chickens.

Their two sons, Juan-Luis and Jose are builders and they designed and renovated the five holiday casas that are available from casa-ubriezo.

The 5 self catering properties that are available from casa-ubriezo are located in an area known as the Liébana Valley in the Picos de Europa mountains of Cantabria.
